  1. Well whet the heck is the difference between a hidden Mickey and a deliberate Mickey?

Actually it's very simple. If you look at something and you see a Mickey right away, it's probably not a hidden Mickey. It's an obvious and intentional part of the design.

If you see it after only looking at something for a while, it's likely a hidden Mickey.

There are only hidden and deliberate Mickeys. There aren't hidden deliberate Mickeys, hidden Mickeys created by nature, accidental hidden Mickeys as in 3 drops of water in the shape of Mickey head. It's either hidden or deliberate Mickeys and there is an official description for both.

    Hidden Mickey Description

A"Hidden Mickey" is an image of MICKEY MOUSE concealed in the design of a WALT DISNEY attraction or resort.

    Deliberate Mickey Description

A Deliberate Mickey is where MICKEY MOUSE's image has been incorporated into a design as a decorative enhancement. They are"Deliberate Mickeys" because they are specifically intended to make MICKEY MOUSE a visual addition to the surrounding artwork or as an identifying logo.

  2. Sorry, Lou! I took my kids to the pool! Being a dad has a price! LOL. I'm at parks today and tomorrow but open otherwise...call my cell when u come, I may just be out on a bike!

That's ok Rod, first things first.

I had four people to check in on and I caught two of them at their sites. Two out of four isn't bad.

I'm working at Epcot until noon on Friday, so I'll probably stop in on my way out.

That would mean Lou would have to find his phone located somewhere on his car's seat. Oh the horrors.

Even the new guys are getting to know me, but Keith's right. Most of the time I don't know where my flip phone is.

  3. I can't yell at you, Mike, or call you a schmuckface, yet, for not joining sooner because it depends on how long you've been lurking. But I will yell at you for not letting us know that you were at the Fort because as it was your first time to WDW and the Fort, insight from an on the scene Fiend might have been helpful during your stay.

Nice job on the Mickey light. I had to say that. Mo makes me say one nice thing to noobs or she yells at me.

    Where are you from?

  4. Thanks to tiggerinbama for recruiting me.

Referral check is on it's way to Kelly.

Maybe even find a cool artifact or two.

If you don't, do you know about the FWRR spiking custom for Fiends?

I've read in other threads here about "finding the Lou" while hitching bus rides.

Unless you're riding the CM bus at Epcot, you want find me on a bus, not that you would when I was driving a bus.

One day if I'm UNfortunate enough to stumble upon and meet "the Lou" it would make my wife and I smile.

    Fixed it.

Post your site number and Fort days so you don't have to stumble.

  5. I'll take a stab at it:

"Isn't this fun, in the past Disney never put any guests or rides in the fireworks launching (or landing) area, but now (after the New Fantasyland expansion) this happens.  Makes you wonder why now they are ok with putting guests in harms way when they could have used any of the other Disney owned property."

    WBI

Excellent attempt Nick, but the beginning doesn't sound quite right.
