  1. We noticed that not a lot of people visit this lane, because it is the last lane despite our extremely over decorated camp with lazers, fog machines, blowups, and jumping props.

Sounds impressive. Well except for one of those decorations.

So,We would love if we got some more visitors. We are giving out candy,so if you mention us, we will give you some extra.

    Done

We are also in the cart parade. We have 2 blowups on the roof and a AOOGAA horn.

How am I supposed to get to those blowups on the roof?

  2. And just for Lou, I'll leave our beautiful inflatable inflated and lighted all night long.

    Fixed it.

I wonder iff this includes our Mickey Head lights, we leave ours on all night usually.

Mickey head lights, I need to get those for my car. Are they street legal?

Could the reason for this have nothing to do with the lights annoying other campers or the cost of the electricity?

It might be that they just want to reduce the site seeing by Fort campers in GCs and by those walking around the loops after 10pm.

It can get noisy and 10pm is quiet time.

  3. AW Lou, I know you will miss little Luna, but so happy for her to be going to her forever home.  It seemed she and the other 4-footers in your domain got along well.

I hope we see pics of her first experience with snow!

    That should be very interesting.

A couple of weeks ago she walked on grass for the first time since I captured her. She was only about two weeks old then. She didn't know what to do. Her entire world since then has been in the house or the pool enclosure.

  4. Luna gets her real home.

My SIL, who is animal lover, just visited us for a couple of weeks. I knew that when they met, Luna would steal her heart, and she did.

In a few weeks Gail will head to Maine to spend Thanksgiving with her family and so will Luna.

I'll get to enjoy her for another month, and then I will miss her.

If you've read how I ended up with her, you know that we've gone through a lot together, but it was my intention all along to find her a home.

Although she's had a great home here, she'll have an even better home in Maine. She'll be the center of attention as she'll be the only pet.

I have no doubt that my SIL will treat Luna like the princess she is.

  5. Getting selected as Veteran of the Day and participating in the Flag Retreat at MK was very magical.

    Timing is everything for that.

Most people that want to be considered find out too late on how to go about having their name submitted.

CM taking the time to change food items to suit what I want. A special treat for my dog.

Nice things Susan, but they're things that the CM should do as part of their job.

You hit the nail on the head.  I've seen some cast members, young and old, where you just want to ask them why in the world they are working there.

I'm going to have to take a slightly different view.

To many CMs at WDW, it's a job, it's an income. They don't buy into the hype and the cool aid drinking. I have absolutely no problem with that.

However I do expect them to do the job as it's expected to be done and from those CMs, a little bit of acting is required to pull it off, and that's ok.

The most magical moment we've had at Disney was in November 2011.  It was Anna's first trip to the Fort, and we had planned a "Fort-only" trip as park tickets were not in the budget since we had given all of our free cash flow for the year to Putin and his cronies.  A CM had gotten wind of this and felt that we, in particular Anna, should have a day at the MK.  So he met us at the entrance gates one morning just before rope drop and got us into the park.  Plus, they were hoppers so we were even able to spend the evening at Epcot.

That was a magical moment for us.

I bet he got as much enjoyment doing it, if not more, as you and your family did.

  6. I guess that it comes down to what you feel "magical" is. Although those things are all positive, for me, they don't rise to the level of a magical experience. Some are usual and customary and some are part of the CMs job. You could make a valid argument that if you combined them all, they might be magical.

My interpretation of a magical experience is that after it happens, you know it and say, wow, that was special.
