  1. I have Armada, I feel totally safe and I can get my kids in it car seats and all comfortably. The gas mileage sucks however...
  2. IMHO, the fort is totally worth it for my family. HOWEVER, we can only do it once a year, if we lived closer, and could do it more often I think the price would be a issue, as someone said earlier, I have a large family and the "camping" route, is alot cheaper than flying us all somewhere and staying in a hotel. As I learned last year, my first trip, the fort is an experience in itself when you have smaller children, I can understand that for adults only and older kids there might not seem like there is alot to offer in its self but my kiddos loved the placed! The gas prices are killing m

  6. It was a good time, we really enjoyed it, I just wished I had met some fiends on that trip, I sure could have used a nice adult beverage and adult conversation once they were asleep! I was talking in tongues by the time we got back home  Me being the hard headed women that I am, will do it again next week. My hubby is somewhat of a city boy and works more than he should, so it's only for 3 days this time and we will only be a few hours from home so if the house critters get to rowdy I can call in the back up crew! The halloween trip I have convinced him that we ALL need to go and

  8. I guess my redneck roots are showing, $400k made me spit my coke.... shew.
  9. Thank you Queen Doodle! Let me tell you, I think that squirrel was possessed or something, it squared off with me on several occasions, had I not feared my children would have required years of therapy, I would have thrown his cocky little rear end on the grill and made a squirrel -shish-a-bob!! Darn thing taunted me the entire trip, and it wouldn't touch the other food, just the hamburger buns! It was no amatuer!
  10. LOL, good thing they are cute right?? He is wide open terrible two's right now, but all he has to do is bat those eye lashes and I turn into a pile of mush..

  18. Dole Whip, I dont know if it's just the fact that this is the only place I can get one other than the Dole Whip Plantation in Hawaii (or Disneyland) or if it's really that good...
  19. Has anyone done this? Is it worth the price? $25 bucks a person doesnt sound bad for one or two people, but I have seven in my family and I'm a cheapo, convince me this is worth it :popo: It's sounds cool but I need to hear from someone who has been there, done that and got a T-shirt :D where do you actually watch the fireworks?

  21. Hello my fellow fiends! It has come to pass that we are going to wait alittle longer on purchasing a TT and sticking with the tent for a while. I currently have a 19 x 12 Coleman three room tent. I had no major issues with it last year. The overhead lighting feature was a joke and I broke it on the first trip and I have never been rained on as of yet so I'm not sure how it will do then but otherwise, I love it. Now we have several trips planned this year and I need to figure out how to cool it. Has anyone got any suggests? I have been looking at the AC Boot on the web but havent been ab
