  1. It wasn't our Shan-Man . . . and he didn't seem too comfortable with dogs. I thought he was an odd choice for "Dog Day" . . .
  2. Alas, no dogs at DTD. A few years ago, about 2009, they had a special "Dog Day" in December and we took our two shelties. They had their picture taken with Santa. Then they posed with the Lego dogs. Then we had lunch at Earl's. We went back with them a few years later and were politely informed that dogs were not allowed. We're glad to have had that one chance!
  3. Good to see you back ShanMan/Santa. Hope to see you at the Fort again soon!
  4. New Green Acres is one of our regular stops too . . . always clean and quiet. I recommend it highly! While you're there say hello to Arnold Ziffel.
  5. Mrs. CDNCruiser made this yesterday . . . it's great! Tastes just like at the Fort! :thumbsup1:
  6. Great to bump into you and the TCD twins Saturday night! It is indeed a small world! Yes, we are on the way back to the frozen tundra in Canada. We have stopped for the night in frigid Harrisburg, PA. It's 28 degrees with bitterly cold winds. Brrrr! We should be home late tomorrow afternoon. We miss The Fort already!
  7. Add us to the 'Ohana fan club. We enjoy at least one dinner there every trip. Next time will be in less than two weeks!
  8. Hi, I'm that Gary guy they were talking about. You can find my lamp instructions here: http://www.carol-anne.ca/Mickey%20Lamp.htm
  9. Did you notice the Hidden Mickey in the armor room? Look in the blade of the axe, I think it's the one furthest away on the right . . . it's cut into the blade. Maybe you can zoom in on the original pic to see it.
  10. Looks great! I really like the milk can base! Yes, use a rubber mallet . . .
  11. Yes, very big DCL fan. We're booked on our 9th DCL cruise next May (West Coast repo) with number 10 to follow in September '13 (Eastern Caribbean)
  12. Lovin' the TR . . . as always. Here in Canada (the non-French part) they're Tighty-Whitey's
  13. We were on a backstage tour about ten years ago and the tour guide referred to the flyer as "Tinker Bob" and claimed "he" was the highest paid cast member in the park. Maybe there's a new Tink in town since then! Whatever the gender it's still a pretty amazing sight. If you've seen the Disneyland Tinker Bell she/he is even more amazing. She flies away then comes back to fly away again!
  14. PEI is beautiful . . . spend some time in Cavendish! Quebec City is 1 year younger than Jamestown Virginia . . . but it's much more European. Narrow cobbled streets in the old walled city . . . and of course it's French. WOW! It's a piece of Eurpoe in North America. Enjoy!
  15. We would never consider staying anywhere else. The Fort is soooo worth the premium you pay.
  16. Check here: http://www.carol-ann...Mickey Lamp.htm The new Home Depot part numbers are included in my instructions. Gary
  17. I'm sure not one to talk . . . but my money would be on the kid!
  18. It's not as low as it looks. Our Windsport is 12' 11" and we get through with room to spare. There's at least 15' clearance.
  19. We almost always spend a night or two at North Beach on our way to Fort Wilderness. It's a great spot.
  20. We park in the same place . . . and we've never had any feedback. Monique . . . will you be at Grass Creek Park in August? We're just a few miles away and we go for a day every year!
