  1. You are correct. I went to the preview today. We were instructed from the start no photos on the safari. And they reminded us at every turn.

That card was actually a box of mints that was given to us. We were treated to some of the food that will be served there and some of the punch. They also had signs posted highlighting the other menu items that will be served there.

It looks amazing inside and they weren't even completely done yet. It's going to be a great dining experience.

  2. A few photopass updates.

The Disney Visa Meet and Greet process has changed. You no longer get a free 5x7 print with the exclusive meet and greet. Now Visa card holders get free digital downloads of all of the photos from their experience. No need to visit the view stations. Just download them from the website.

As of today the one day memory maker is only available for purchase with a hard ticket to the MVMCP. After the last party, 1 day memory maker will be discontinued to make way for future product enhancements.

  3. It's in soft open now. But it's not guaranteed you'll get the new scenes. After dec 1st the new scenes will be a part of every ride for the entire month at which point they become random. I was "lucky" enough to ride it 4 times with the new scenes. The only problem I have with it is now you jump from the very end of the saga to the very beginning. It doesn't flow very well.

  4. For ride photos, if you are wearing a magic band, the photos are automagically added to your account. Just walk off the ride. Nothing else needs to be done unless there is a problem with the system in which case there will be signs posted. This applies to EVERYONE with a magic band. Not just memory maker.

For seeing your kids photos, as long as they are linked to your account (in this case you say you manage them so they are linked) you just need to be sure to select share photos in the friends and family section.

If viewing of the app, it should show them automatically. If not, select filter and be sure show all is selected.

Ad long as you can see the photos in the account that has memory maker attached you can download them.

  5. There's no way for the liberty bell to make it to bay lake. There are a series of bridges along that canal that the boat will not fit under and they are not draw bridges, one of which is the train bridge. Also the canal narrows significantly at one point making it narrower than the width of the boat. Not to mention the two dams used to regulate the water levels in the rivers of America. Oh, and the liberty belle is on a track.

  6. Given how all this has shaken out, I have to wonder if this isn't his first run-in with Disney CMs? I've been told that Disney keeps files on Guests that file complaints or grievances. Totally speculation, but I wonder if he already had a file and they'd finally had enough of him?

I was just going to say this. The magic file. Every complaint is logged and tracked. Guest relations and customer service has access to the files and any leader can request information when dealing with a guest. If something seems fishy the magic file can be checked. It's to protect Disneys interests from those who try to exploit policies. I bet he had a major file and they had had enough.

  7. Beginning Aug 24 the mydisneyexperience app will allow guest to view their photopass photos directly in the app. You will also be able to purchase memory maker directly in the app. If you have memory maker, you can download your photos to your mobile device and share them. You can also link photopass cards to your account. You can either type in the code or scan the card with your device to automatically link the card. You can also find photopass photographers with the app.

  8. I know this has been answered before but I cant find it.

After I use my 1st 3 fastpass selections can I book 3 more for a DIFFRENT park for the same day?

    After I use the 1st 3 can I book 3 more or only 1?

How many Fastpasses are you allowed to have in 1 day?

After using your 1st 3 fastpasses can I book the new ones on my Disney experience or do I need to go to a kiosk to do it?

Sorry I use to be all up on this but its been a year since I have been to Disney now. Thanks!

    1. No. Only 1 can be booked at a time after your first 3 have been used.

    2. You can only book 1 additional FP at a time. But when you use the additional FP you can get another, then another, then another.

    3. You can only hold 3 for one day. But once you use those you can book an additional at kiosk in the park. But you can continue to get 1 at a time as long as you want.

    4. You can only get the additional FPs at an in park kiosk.

  9. I was pretty happy overall with the photos we got from our trip last December.

Unrelated question for you....are the DCL photographers still from that other company (Shutters?) or were they brought in house? Was wondering what to expect, and if the process has changed since our last Disney cruise a few years ago.

    Still shutters.

It's still a few years off before we can even consider using photo pass in the fleet. Contracts and all.

  10. I don't know this trick, but the TCD twins do (or something like it).

The fact of the matter is (sorry Devores), most Photopass photos aren't worth making the effort to swipe.

Plus, if I really, really wanted them, it would be easy enough to join a share, which is another gigantic loophole that the geniuses at Disney can't seem to figure out how to close.

    TCD

No need to apologize. I agree. There are some poor Photopass photographers out there. Drives me crazy. Part of my job is to review the photos taken throughout the day and I cringe allot looking at them.

But there are also some amazing photographers as well.
