  1. I have a bunch of photos as well. I'll post when I get home in a bit. Can't figure out how to do it from my phone.
  2. Starting feb 13 through the 21st, there will be two Festival of Fantasy parades daily. One at noon and one at 3.
  3. Plus. That whole area is cast parking. There's not enough of that to begin with. If they open that area to guests, CMs will not have anywhere to park. Not to mention that's where all the warehouses and textiles shops are. Definitely not where Disney wants guest.
  4. But they are cutting it in a very specific manner. Like a puzzle. Maybe so they can easily piece it back together in a short manner of time.
  5. I saw no where in that article where forest river had safety issues. The fine was for failure to properly report warranty work, recalls, and complaints. It's clearical.
  6. Not completely discounting the rumor, but there's nothing on the horizon for this. The 2 major refurbs are mermaid will down February through March and liberty tree tavern from July to December. A major refurb would be listed by now. And Disney will not save on labor. Those CMs must be employed somewhere. Disney can't just not schedule them. Unions and all. Those lucky ones will get to stand out front and let guests know it's down. The others will be sent to other attractions they are trained in.
  7. Nothing new, but a nice gee whiz bit of info. Did you know that photo pass has a photobooth located in tomorrow land? In the space mountain gift shop sits an unsuspecting photobooth. When you enter, you can scan a photo pass card or magic band and have your photos taken and associated with your account. You can then purchase a strip of the photos directly from the machine. The photo strip is similar to any other photo booth. There is no cost to have your photos associated to your account and you can buy the strip online later if you decide. The strip is $5 for 3 strips with 4 poses. If you
  8. There is now a wall around the partners statue. It is completely boxed in, not even visible. The half of the hub closest the castle is all walled in. Part of the project will take the bench that circles the statue out.
  9. They did not really do too much to the area during the holidays, so I can see why they are taking so long. Should push into high gear to get ot done before summer. The bypass behind MS is nearing completion now too.
  10. Yes, these are the FP+ viewing locations. Sorry. Construction is going to begin soon on the castle hub area and rose garden area. So these locations will not be accesible. But did you notice the fireworks viewing? This area they are talking about is the area currently walled off. So the walls should be coming down very soon.
  11. Starting today, January 12, the viewing location for Magic Kingdom parades will be relocated from the Central Plaza Viewing area to the Town Square Viewing Area, near the flagpole. This new location is available for both the daytime and nighttime parades. Starting February 27, the viewing location for Magic Kingdom fireworks will relocate from the Rose Garden Fireworks Viewing Area to the Main Street Plaza Gardens. This preferred viewing location is adjacent to Casey's Corner and the Plaza Restaurant. Guests may choose either side upon arrival to the Main Street Plaza Gardens, based on availa
  12. From February 1 to April 11 the new golden coach will be available on the streets of America at Hollywood Studios for photo opportunities. There will also be a sneak peek of the new Cinderella movie starting Jan 17. Still no word on the food items that will be sold from it.
  13. The great thing about this change is that everyone gets the digital photos. Those with memory maker can download them as part of their entitlement while others have the option to purchase them either online or at one of our photo centers. As for ohana, due to construction we couldn't take the regular photos.
  14. A couple of items for an update. As was mentioned during the peak attendance timeframe, those who hold an active memory maker entitlement are not affected by park phased closures. This is a huge deal if you visit during peak times. Effective January 4th dining photo packages at all dining locations have been discontinued. The photos will still be taken, but no prints will be offered. Instead, the photos will be associated to guests card or rf enabled device (magic band, park ticket, memory maker card). Guests can purchase the photos just like any other photos in their account.
  15. That's strange. I've always been able to check for guests. We just use an iPad and the guest logs into their mde and check that way.
  16. It should be listed under tickets and passes. It won't say memory maker specifically. But the number will be listed. This is how we link them for guest who purchase it in park or just have to check to be sure it's linked. Remember, you cannot download or view photos in app. Just see that it's linked.
  17. Photo pass, to include memory maker, is not compatible with the app at this time. Future enhancements are coming but at this time, you can log into the full website via your devices browser if you wish to view your photos on your mobile devices. You can check your memory maker entitlement (to see if it's linked) by going to reservations on the app then tickets and passes. It will be listed there.
  18. Also stopping non resort guests from getting to the poly to watch the fireworks only to be told they can't. Or the fort. Or the grand.
  19. This could be just for today. Mk is currently a phase b closure so they may be checking to keep anyone who can't get in from getting in. They also restrict access to the beaches and contemporary during holidays to just resort guests. A loophole was to use the buses to get in. Guess they fixed that loophole.
  20. The rain caused a change. Guess they didn't want the fancy new one sitting out in the rain all night.
