  1. Since 1978, my first night at Fort Wilderness included chili at the campsite, a ride on the boat over to the Contemporary Resort and then...a ride on the monorail!! I can't imagine a first night without this. The look on my boys faces when they got to ride "up front" was priceless!!! I can't imagine our first night back in November without it.
  2. 5th page....I am slow but now along for the ride. I love pictures taken in the Meadow Trading Post...my memory can smell it (I know, it is weird but I swear that place has had the same smell since I was young). Can't wait to read more!
  3. Well it sounds like using a TA would be helpful and that Jason is the go to guy! Thanks for all the input! On my to do list for tomorrow....call Jason and make this trip official :jumpforjoy
  4. It has been 6 1/2 since our last trip to the Fort. The hubs has ok'd a trip for November 2015 (belated 25 anniversary trip) and I am ready to make reservations. I have always made the reservations myself but was wondering if any of you had used a travel agency and what the benefits might be?
  5. Oh oh....looks kinda like my 83 Avion. Guess I will be heading to Cracker Barrel tomorrow,
  6. Hooray for another installment!! A couple thoughts... Agreed that duck weed is sticky and disgusting (personal experience). Some of us northern baptist enjoy a nippy nip every now and then. On a bad days at work I listen to the sound track from my most favorite attraction in all of the WDW and then run around the office singing "everybody has a laughing place". I am loving your TR!!
  7. FIrst time was spring break 1978. My dad had heard that you could camp at WDW so we stayed 3 nights there that trip. After that, he and Mom worked it into the budget so that every 2 years we could head to WDW and camp at FW for 2 weeks at spring break :jumpforjoy In September 1999 I was able to introduce my hubby and boys to the Fort and my folks were camped in the site next to us
  8. Stove top Books, always books Dunkin because the nearest KK is 45 minutes away Ice cold in a bottle Monorail White Football Dogs (cats make me sneeze) Morning Tea MK....always. No matter how old I get, it is always magical. No seafood Beach Would love to check out the 3000 loop someday Hamburgers Have I caught up yet???
  9. And with some squinting and imagination (as directed) I could see the dancing ghosts (I could hear the music in my head too).
  10. What great pictures! Your TR has made my lunch hour much more enjoyable!!!
  11. I am loving this!! I also know I am late to catch this TR but.....that seems to be how I roll these days.
  12. I want a keychain and tshirt...but more then that, a trip to the Fort. It has been 4 LONG years since the last time and not a trip in site.....sigh. One of these days we WILL get back.
  13. My favorite type of TR....short and sweet
