Interesting....   I had never heard on Contractor's Tire.  I have done a lot of business with Three Way and live nearby and didn't know anything about the place.   I will check them out.  I am taking a look at the tires and doing a short tow with it this weekend so I will have a better idea of their condition and how soon I need to replace them.

What tires did you end up getting.  I need some new ones for the TT.  Also, I am in the same area as you, where did u find them?

Guilty as charged!  Just wanted to post to say how much I am enjoying your trip report.  I have only cruised DCL but find this RCL cruise to be very impressive.  I may have been convinced to try them next time.  Doesn't look like it will be anytime soon but we just keep coming to the realization that we can't afford DCL.

Went to check out the trailer today.  Wow, I could probably remove a few hundred pounds of dirt and grime by cleaning it...  Hope this campground doesn't have a trailer cleanliness policy..LOL :clint:

First tow with the new van (bringing the boat home to get it ready for the summer) and man did it tow sweet.  Can't wait to get the trailer out. :jumpforjoy

But all my money went to UGA.  Now I am about to spend a fortune as Georgia Southern.......  I have paid much more for the football program at UGA than both USF & UCF combined....

You're a garden railroader?  So I am I.  Pretty small layout and I am just getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus.  Been clearing weeds and overgrowth off the tracks and trying to get it cleaned back up.

Got my spike thanks to old Lou and TCD proudly displayed in a shadowbox in my family room.

This plank idea is awesome.  Will have to work at getting me some of that.

Wow, when I first read this I thought they were suing about the GAG policy......That would be blasphemy.  Thank god, I was worried for a moment.

Seriously, due to the abuse of the program by some, this is becoming an issue for those who really need assistance.  My suspicion is that Disney will appropriately accommodate anyone with specific needs but the guest needs to be able to explain needs first which I am sure some are unwilling to do that because they still think they are entitled.

That is awesome.  I smell business opportunity!

i called them yesterday to tweak my dates.   The gentleman  I spoke with was VERY nice and professional.   My dates are now correct,  he assured me that I was getting the FF 20% discount,  and my KOA points,  and sent me a confirmation e-mail.      I'm so ready for this trip!

What is the 20% FF discount.  Not sure I got that when they transferred the ressie from Annie to me.

One thing that may make this a more interesting choice is that the van would give you and Sil a quick camping getaway option without the PUP.  You could set up an air mattress and it would be pretty comfy compared to a tent.  I am thinking about trying to create a camping package that can be put in and taken out of our new van to give us a quick weekend camper.

OK guys, really getting excited for this trip.  It will be our first camping since 8/12 so we are a bit rusty at this.  We will probably do a quick weekend nearby for a shakedown since the trailer has been stored ever since.  New tow vehicle also that has not been tested yet.

Do we have an update on who all is currently going?

Wow, that van is in incredibly good shape.  Looks a lot like the 77 Chevy Beauville van we had when I was a kid.  The only caution that I will give you is the engine is pretty anemic.  I have had two of them (79 and 84) in previous pickups.  Gutless, especially with the 2 barrel carb..

We are coming in Friday and leaving on Monday.  We will be taking over Annie's site #65.   Really bummed she can't make it but good for us! :jumpforjoy

We were in G'Burg last May and had a great time.  Looking forward to exploring more.  Maybe a hike in the National Park, Dollywood?, The Mill restaurant, and who knows what else.

Can't wait for the pot-luck!  Do we know what day we are going to have it yet?
