Since CS access will be by your personal MB instead of a generic KTTW card, will you be limited to the CS in your own loop only (if & when all CS access is by MB) or will your MB open all the CS doors? Also, what about the laundry rooms?
When we were at the Fort in October, I was able to open the returning guest gate with my MB the first time I tried. One touch, the gate opened. The second time I tried, it took several touches to open the gate. The third time the gate wouldn't budge. I had to use a KTTW card after that. Go figure.

I know that there's a locater service for the plaques on the Epcot monoliths in the photo shop at Spaceship Earth. I'm thinking there might be something similar at the MK. Ask at Guest Relations.

We had no problems getting to TE last evening. No long wait, finished up about 10:30. Got our chairs from our car, headed to the beach where we enjoyed the entertainment & a great fireworks show. It was much better than fighting the MK crowds like we did last year's NYE. Thanks to DIT for his offer. Happy Fiends New Year to everyone.

Is Trail's End pretty good about getting you seated on time on a busy night like NYE? Last year we ate at Olivia's at OKW & we didn't get seated until almost an hour past our reservation time. We just barely made it to the MK in time for the fireworks.

I'll put our KTTW card on the table under our awning at 113 in case you need to access the bathroom at the Settlement trading post after hours.
Dave, thank you. I appreciate that. :yourock:

I hope they don't get locked or I may be striking up a close personal relationship with a tree. :-)

We have an ADR for 9:05 at Trail's End this evening. We're not guests so we'll be driving to the Fort. I'm hoping we won't have problems parking at the Outpost lot. We're planning on staying for the fireworks. Will the restrooms next to Pioneer Hall be open until after Midnight? I hope so because we won't have access to the guest restrooms. Will Crockett's be selling coffee & hot chocolate?

Was it walking funny?
Did it act drunk?
Yes, it seemed to be crab walking.

Those things always worry me when wandering around in broad daylight.
Yeah, us too. I called the front desk & reported it & pest control came out & set some traps. Our neighbors are tent campers & I warned them too.

We had a lunchtime visitor the other day, but I think he was looking for the 1000 loop.

Just checked and
mineisn'tlargeenoughmy pair of Channel Locks doesn't open wide enough to help you. -
The CG police was just driving through the loop & caught the skate boarder in front of our site. They had about a 2 or 3 minute conversation. The kid didn't look very happy afterwards.

This is a great story. You guys have done something to be really proud of. I can't believe all the work you put into this. I wish we were staying at the Fort long enough to see Polly Luna in person. The paint combo is very similar to a '57 Dodge that my aunt & uncle owned & my cousins and I beat the snot out of. Those old Torqueflite trannys could really take a beating.

Snagged a 5:40 FP for TSMM this morning. Arrived at 5:39 & entered the FP queue, entered the building at 5:40, was directed into the empty standby queue & arrived at the 3D glasses station at 5:42. Boarded the ride about 5:48, played the game & was out of the building by 5:57. Everything moved very smoothly.

Thanks for the memories. We took our oldest nephew to the show in 1987. DW thinks she might have a kazoo stored in some safe place. The search will be on when we get back home.

Grupo Nacional Provincial will be having a special event on the Streets of America in Disney's Hollywood Studios on October 12th. The park will close to day guests at 7pm.
On the Streets of America. How ironic.

Now they need to put up "Do Not Skate Board on the Road" signs. I followed a teenager skateboarding on Big Pine Drive this evening from before the 1500 loop into the the 1400 loop.
Well that one should be a no brainer, as skateboards aren't allowed at the Fort AT ALL...
No brainer would be an apt description of the kid. At least he wasn't exceeding the 20 mph speed limit.

Three years ago we did a 2 month trip out west. We started in CO at Mesa Verde NP, went to UT where we hit Arches NP, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Monument Valley, north rim on the Grand Canyon, then up to Yellowstone NP where we spent 2 weeks. On the way home we stopped at Custer SP in SD. It's a trip we'll never forget.

My daughter just texted me that Disney CMs are handing out 2 hour parking passes for people parking in the Fantasia Mini Golf lot. She said she parked there yesterday & they weren't handing out parking passes then but the lot was jammed. Apparently so many people park there & walk to EPCOT during the food & wine festival that Disney is trying to control it. I guess they'll soon be putting up a gate with a security guard or start charging.

Just tried. I get the same message.
OK, good. I was hoping it was a Disney problem.

Is anyone else having trouble with this tonight? I keep getting the following message:

If you feel this message is in error, call (407) 939-4357 for assistance.I called the number & there's over a 30 minute wait. -
Some of the snowbirds wash them weekly or biweekly.
We'll be doing ours weakly. :rofl2:

You can only have it detailed in the overflow parking lot, not at your site, we had the MH done several years ago while we were on a DCL cruise and left it in the overflow. However you can wash it yourself at your site since there is no restrictions on that.
G & G,
Thanks. We don't mind doing it ourselves & I have the long handled brush. I'm surprised to hear Fort management doesn't prohibit it. Lots of CGs do.
What are your favorite "inexpensive" meals at Disney?

Just had lunch at Pecos Bills. Taco salad is MIA. Having a Dole Whip to console myself.
