While we were going thru the Epcot toll booth yesterday, an 18 wheeler pulling a fully loaded car hauler pulled up to the toll booth, went through and then took the turn to leave the parking lot. The parking CM probably wanted to charge him $20 for every car on the trailer. Because, with Disney, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

27 minutes ago, Momof6....aka Marty said:I have been reading rumors about this for a few weeks. I am curious to see how it works. The main question would be if you can make FP+ for a park you are not currently in. For example, i have 3 FP+ booked for AK and plan to hop to Epcot for dinner. It would be great if once I have completed my 3rd FP+ in AK, I could peruse and pick an EPCOT FP+ before leaving AK.
It sounds to me that you will be able to book FPs for a park other than the one you're in. That would be great for park hopping.

BREAKING: Significant Updates Coming to FastPass+, Guests No Longer Need To Use Kiosks
Posted in:Walt Disney World ResortStarting April 10th, a series of very important upgrades will be made to your FastPass+ experience at Walt Disney World.
After booking their initial 1-to-3 FastPass+ reservations (you will now have the option to book anywhere between one and three, not forced to pick 3 initially), guests will now be able to book an additional and even further FP+ reservations through the MyDisneyExperience app. These can be made one at a time, so once you finish your initial reservations that were made in advance, then you may book another. With every additional FP+, you are able to just book one at a time and only book another once the previous are completed (as the system works now, but you will be able to book additional FastPass+ yourself through the mobile app or website, and book for another park if you plan to switch).
With the upgraded system, guests will be able to choose an attraction and time for the attraction simultaneously, instead of simply hoping that a time they wanted would be suggested after making their three initial attraction choices. This should allow guests to better customize their daily plans to their liking.
Other new features include the ability to remove individual guests from a FastPass+ reservation and the ability to cancel a single FastPass+ attraction reservation instead of all of them.
With these changes implemented, the Quick Picks FP+ option will be removed.
Guests will see significant changes to the look of the app (and kiosk interface) on April 10th, 2016, but larger changes that will make the app look and function more like the new official Disneyland Resort app are still expected at a later date.

My friend has a citEcar golf cart and he had it at the Fort for a week last month, with no problems. His cart is licensed in OCNJ and he left the plate on while it was at the Fort. Of course, Your Mileage May Vary.

Went to Universal on Tuesday to see Star Wars in 3D. Won't bore you with the details of why we couldn't go to Disney Springs and get free parking. We had to pay $20 to park in the Universal parking garage and the attendant offered us Premium Parking on the first floor for "only $10 more". Looks like Disney would be late coming to the Premium Parking game. I read the Disney may also start charging a $15/night resort fee to cover things like the Magical Express, Magic Bands, wifi, hotel parking, and other things that have until now been included with your room fee. It's just sad.

Oh, I forgot, the downside is you will start to utilize toll roads more often!
It's true. [emoji2]

In a word, yes, if you'll be driving on any of the seemingly endless list of toll roads in the Central Florida area. I think they sell one for about $10 that includes a $10 credit against your tolls so it is essentially free. I could be wrong about that, it's happened before. :-)

Just curious, does the Fort have a dump station? I've never seen one or found it on the Fort map.

As OKW DVC members, we've eaten at Olivia's many times. We liked the food and the laid back Key West atmosphere.

The Bloody Mary appears to be a meal in itself! Might have to try this before we head north.

We'll all be having meals together at FW and I expect it will be late at night when we are ready to return to WL.
I hope for your sake that it's not so late at night that you have a problem like we did on New Year's Eve when no internal buses came to the Settlement bus depot. Make sure you find out how late the internal buses and the FW to WL buses will be running.

Now they do this after we sold our DVC membership last year.
Yes Folks, the yellow flies are back
in General Camping Discussion and Questions

My wife and I stayed at Wilderness Lodge in May, 2005. One evening we took a walk along Bay Lake. The next morning I had bites all over my legs. Being Yankees, we hadby never heard of yellow flies. A CM working in the WL store was a local and she told us about them. I eventually had to get an antibiotic because some of the bites had become infected.
