  1. Most toilets in a pop up are cassette toilets.  Most people that have them never use them.  Are you looking new or used?  I didn't see that you mentioned that.  Weights of a pop up can get high quick.  All of mine are over 3000 pounds.  The most recent having a GVW of 3500 pounds.  Anything over 1000 pounds you would do well to have brakes on.  (which is almost all of them)  If buying used, there are a lot of things to look at...flooring, canvas, appliances, even a rusty frame.  That's just the start.  Bad news is...new pop ups are now made so cheap that you may not like the quality on those either.  (I know)  They do single stitches on the walls, cheap wood that screws constantly fall out of, things that should be made of metal that are plastic...I could go on.  It's fun keeping them up.  Don't mean to scare you but if you have kids, things happen.  Take your time looking and be sure of the values.  New ones can be had as much as 35% off MSRP.

  2. he will be an excellent dog for you.  it's funny though, when i take in a dog someone doesn't want anymore i have to ask some questions.  i'd like to know the real reason for giving the dog up and many times the owner won't say.  it sucks--because it could be something easy to work with or maybe not.  but, you have to just stop asking questions when they start to not talk much anymore.  you can tell they are getting agitated with you.

the one thing i don't want is them to just throw the dog to the side of the road-so to speak.  Even if it's a humane society-it can harm the dogs social life. so, i just shut-up and take in the dog.

i'm glad that pup found you--he must've sniffed you out!  ;)

Yea we stink like that. Loll

  3. A dog was found in our area that someone obviously just left him.  Cannot find the owner.  He has some issues.  Cataracts in both eyes, nearly deaf and doesn't get along all that well.  Very slowly.  We don't know anything else about him but don't want to get into a situation of huge vet bills and we don't know how long he will last.  Although we don't want to send him to animal control, would it be better for him?  Options?

  4. Love bugs are gone.  Yellow flies I haven't seen lately at the Fort. One thing to keep an eye out for are the Mega mosquitoes that are already in Seminole County.   Expected to spread throughout central Florida.  All I can say is lay in a supply of a DEET product.  20 times the size of a normal mosquito and biters, even through clothing.  I chuckled when the articles in the news said they feel like a small bird landing on you....lol.
There is a lot of standing water in the Fort now.  Many sites are surrounded on 3 sides by water.  Perfect for mosquitoes.   Hopefully the Fort is spraying regularly again.
