I agree with Good Sam. They've been good to us for many years, including multiple tows in a couple of cases.

I just got my motorhome out of the shop. I had some body work done to repair where I argued with a pine tree last summer. It looks like they did a great job, even somewhat matching the finish of my 16 year old paint. While it was there, they repaired an electrical problem at a reasonable price where some generator wiring had fried itself. Apalachee RV is location near AUburn GA on GA 316. Not to offend anyone, but we would like to (and probably will) retain purple ears as our sign. It represents something Disney, but separates us from the people "over there".

Ours stays out at the Fort. We would usually have a screen room hanging from it. Sometimes use deflappers and occasionally tie downs. Always leave rear end lower for runoff. When we use the screen room, we also use Awnbrellas (4) to arch the roof (awning).

Has anyone heard or seen anything definitive (more than rumor) on the Fort limiting displays for any of the the holidays?

Explain. Is this a virtual or a real race? What age group?

We take ours out for an extra week before Christmas (Winter) vacation. Our schools withdraw them so they don't count against their attendance counts...then re-enroll them when we get back in January. Never been a problem. If it was, we would fight. Our time with our kids is indeed priceless as is the time at the Fort for them and for us. For several years we took them out a few extra day before Thanksgiving for a trip to the Dollywood area. Also priceless.

Good locations, but hard to get into many of the sites with a big rig. Older sites and mostly smaller sized.

I like the 1400 outer loop, especailly the few sites that back toward the meadows.

Now they will put and age warning on all moving apparatusses...apparatii? No one over 70 allowed without a doctors approval.

One 3-weeker around Christmas/New years and sometimes a week summer trip.

Nikki, Yes, That would have been us at the bus stop. Some of the newer busses will handle three chairs, but it seems we hit the older ones the whole trip...or until the accident. Were you in loop 300 or 500? We were in 500 (518 to be exact) and the rear of our site was on the main drag near the CS. TCD pictured it in his last TR "over there". Great TR. I wish we took more pictures of the colorful spots around WDW and especially the Fort.

I always use Enterprise over on hotel Blvd (or whatever the street is called). National, Alamo, and Enterprise are all one company pulling cars from the same lot, just charging different prices. Enterprise has always picked me up at my campsite and dropped me back there after turn-in. Enterprise is the cheapest of the three "companies". Sorry I can't give you the number right now. It's in my MH which is in the shop. I have always also left my trailer at the back of my campsite (usually sideways), but I guess that depends on how big it is. Mine is a 6x12 cargo. KFK, I agree, it is absolutely necessary to get the help needed to give your children the best opportunity to grow, physically or mentally. And you can't get the help unless you kow what is wrong, or what is needed. I wouldn't call is "labeling". I would call it "diagnosing". As Judy would say, a wheelchair doesn't handicap a child; it give the child mobility.

Or maybe we just didn't give them a chance to object since we've been doing this for so many years. Maybe bringing back litle gifts for the teachers doesn't hurt, either. We stop at the Inn & Out RV Park in Lake City US 90 at I-75. Convenient to the interstate (but far enough away from the noise), lots of places to eat, WalMart, Home Depot (or Lowes). Nothing special, but level pull thru spaces, a convenience store, and a Subway on the property...gas, deisel, propane. Never used the bathhouses, so i can't speak about them. Some apparently permanent residents near the front.

Our DS14 also shows some signs of autism, not diagnosed. But he enjoys sitting outside in his chair or in the GC. If we're outside - working, decorating, or whatever, that's even better for him. But if I take hm for a ride to get a paper or icecream at the trading post, his day is made. He sits in the cart while I run inside. If I bring out a big bag, he knows I've gotten a frozen pizza. None of this would be possible at another resort.

Great start. Questions: 1. Were you the one who questioned whether the Ole Airstream would be welcome at the Fort? If so, it is a great looking RV. We would appreciate seeing some inside pictures. 2. What was that brown "box" being worked on...where the leak was? 3. A delicate question..Is it a personal concern about not showing the kids? Donnie, I'm not a biker, but from your description, this place sounds like a place you REALLY enjoy. It's nice to find someplace where there care about catering to their clients. 150 miles of tracks sounds awesome (or as Jen might say AUsome). Thanks for the report.

It's great to see this category on this forum. As most of you probably know we have three special needs kids, now all teens. :) Our aim in life is to give them the best life they can appreciate and enjoy.
