  1. Ok - I'm updating my response! We ate at San Angel yesterday, and it was wonderful!! The menu was a little different than the last time we were there. I started with Guacamole and Chiccherones (sp?). The guac was very fresh, and had a great flavor. Then I had the chicken enchiladas - which were very good! DH had the shredded pork, marinated in pineapple juice, orange juice, and beer. It came with tiny tortillas to wrap the pork in. The flavor of the pork was amazing! One of our friends had the chorizo tacos, which she said were really good too. The portions were large, the service was
  2. Tell him all that's left is purple ones!! lol
  3. Wow - I'm jealous! That looks so cool! We're due for a new tent too, but I don't suppose I could talk DH into a condo tent, for just the 2 of us. :rofl2:
  4. You can fill them at other resorts. But I don't think they are the same thing as the waterpark mug, are they? I'm gonna get a pink one!
  5. Mexico and Germany! I love the atmosphere inside the Mexico Pavilion - very festive! And I also love the Three Cabieros (sp?) ride! Germany also has a very festive atmosphere - love the music! And, the food is very good too. (Just wish it wasn't so expensive!) :)
  6. Here's a link to Tracy's blog about the rotational dining on the Disney Dream! For those on the Fort Fiends cruise on September 4, we should all be on the same rotation! :bday: http://travelonadream.wordpress.com/2011/02/17/rotational-dining-on-the-disney-dream/
  7. We love the Kona sushi bar in the afternoons!! Their Tempura Shrimp roll is my favorite. (I know, I know...I'm a sushi wimp) :rofl2:
  8. My personal favorite resort, offsite, is the Sheraton Vistana Villas - on International Drive! The resort is fantastic, with a really nice pool and other amenities. The villas are beautiful!! They are as nice (or nicer) than the DVC villas onsite at Disney, but less than half the price! They have 2 bedroom villas that have a full kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, and laundry room. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom, with a jacuzzi tub. The 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds, and is connected to the main bathroom. I've been getting some really good rates for people lately too! Let me k
  9. Yes!! I'll give you a shipboard credit! :rofl2: email me for more info: [email protected]
  10. I've never heard of that either. Personally, as long as he doesn't show signs of irritation or anything, I would just let it go, and it will probably work itself out eventually. But, if his eye starts getting goopy or watery, or he starts rubbing his face on the carpet, I would bring him in again.
  11. Welcome Nigel!! NOTE: It's DIDSdad, not DISdad!!!! Do NOT get those two words confused please! We have otters in the pond behind our house. :D
  12. Cool! Let me know if you'd like me to get a quote for you! Remember, extra shipboard credits and reduced deposits starts on Tuesday! :D
  13. Since NCL is Freestyle Cruising, it's not everyone. Some people would rather have the set dining times, formal nights, dress codes, eating with the same people and servers every night, etc. NCL has it's own pros and cons. We personally have not liked the food as much, as we do on the other lines. But, that's a matter of taste. NCL has great burgers, fries, pizza, etc. But, for more gourmet food, they are not as good. One thing we really liked on NCL is the sports bar, that offers snacks all day long like chicken wings, fish n chips, etc. It's a fun relaxing place to hang out for a coup
  14. We love Cozumel too! We usually just walk around, and eat and drink our way around the island. LOL Here's a great guide, with maps: http://www.cozumelmycozumel.com/index.htm. They also have a page with local restaurant recommendations. We love to get off the beaten path, and eat at little local places. We also find little local stands and bars that serve the best margaritas! :o When our son and his wife went recently, they rented a jeep, and drove around the island themselves and had a great time! You basically just follow one loop around the island -- impossible to get lost.
  15. Yup!! I just bought some from Costco today! Actually they're called Spring Rolls - but they're just like egg rolls!
  16. I like going out of the Port of Miami -- lots to look at, on the way out! You'll drive alongside the highway, and the cars all honk and wave at you! And, you'll go by Millionaire's Row, with all the big homes! Then, you'll go by the southern tip of South Beach, where you can see the long line of hotels.
  17. One full day will be good - but the next day your feet will hurt! lol
  18. Wow - this will be a trip of a lifetime for her! She'll always remember it! I would just be extra diligent about talking to the teachers about it -- how many chaperones, and who are they? You want an EXACT itinerary--where they will be staying each night, etc. Could you possibly go with them, as a chaperone?
  19. The turnpike is the easiest. But there are tolls. You can also work your way over to I-95 and take that all the way down. It's actually a little faster. You'll still hit tolls as you work your way East though. Either way will be a little over 4 hours.
  20. That would be the way -- except you'd have to have a Park Hopper ticket, so you could walk through Epcot to get to the boat.
  21. The weekend ship is the Norwegian Sky. It sails out of Miami and goes to Nassau and to their private island, Great Stirrup Cay. I've been on this ship 3 times, so let me know if you have any questions. If you'd like me to get a quote for you, when the sale starts, please email me at [email protected]. I'll need names, ages, address, and phone number. Let me know when you'd like to go, and what type of stateroom you'd like. Thanks! :partytwo:
  22. I put this on the Cruise board, but wanted to post it here too, since this is where travel deals go. Next week--from Tuesday through Friday--NCL is having a huge sale!! You'll get reduced deposits, free stateroom upgrades, and great onboard credits (in addition to the onboard credit that you would already get from Travel On A Dream)!! So, if you're thinking of booking a cruise--whether this summer to Alaska, or fall to New England/Canada, or winter to the Caribbean--now will be the time to do it!! Remember, reduced deposits will allow you to book a fantastic cruise now, with as lit

  24. We consider the Disney transportation part of the whole experience! It's fun to try different ways to get to a location -- bus then boat, monorail then bus, bus-bus-boat...LOL. It helps us to relax, and slow down. When we drive, we tend to feel more rushed.
