  2. Well Dave, I checked my local flights and Philadelphia to Bora Bora came in cheapest at $1984.00 per person and that was on Air Tahiti... Guess I have to settle for McHale's Navy reruns.... Awesome parade and construction photos TCD...

It was also very kind of you to let me see that the one bobber that my daughter had graced the bobber tree with is still present. See .. even if we are not there, a piece of us remains at the fort. Bobber = $1.39 Bobber tree memories = Priceless

  10. I have never seen the glow in the dark lobster... I am not sure where they even are... Glad you paid your homage to the bone yard... I swear we still have sand in our camper from there.
  11. What a beautiful young lady and awesome TR. Our school district runs a father - daughter dance each year for grades 1 through 5. I miss those dances...

  14. We have them in Pennsylvania and we call them Nettles.... When you touch them they transfer tiny needles or quills into your skin, clothes etc... It stings and is quite painful and yet another use for duct tape.

  16. Wow Tom, you were blessed with finding that tire.... You also drove through my back yard on your way from Gettysburg... Several of your photos are from Berks County or as we refer to it " Dutch Wonderland"... Next time your coming to Gettysburg let me know and we can meet up... If you want ghosts and the kids to see something unique, take a day and do Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia.
  17. Those particular cars are covered coil gondolas which are used exclusively to handle coiled sheet steel. Tank cars are completely rounded. The cars in the photos are flat gondolas with the half cover. Full disclosure is that my uncle was an engineer for 35 years.... I also love trains.....
