  2. i agree if it can wait have it done at the same time as the dental. but, i would google it and see what you come up with.
  3. very cute pics... Here is Louise and her pups. yes, all 7 of her pups were in the basket and she moved them over to get in next to them. she was/is such a good momma. we had to bottle feed the pups cause she got sick. she was put on medications that we didn't want the pups to get-so she had to wear a onesie. the basket(s) were used to keep track of which pups were fed and which were done.
  4. we never got to meet these guys! but, in the flaming gorge we did meet some wild horses. almost the same picture. lol
  5. forgot to mention-notice how he is smiling at the end of the treatment.. :raspberry:
  6. these first 3 pics are of duke getting the first part of the treatment. she goes all the way from the shoulders, down the spine and into the hips. she uses this tool that clicks and i believe it puts the joints back into place. not positive but that is how i see it. lol she goes down the spine 3 times and can see the reads start to clear up. the next thing is like a little jack hammer. lol my description - not correct. lol but, she uses this to help massage the joints all the way down and longer in areas that need it. the last two pics are of the alpha sonic machine that she uses.
  7. i have taken two of my dogs to a VOM (veterinary orthopedic manipulation). this is like a chiropractor for animals. not the same-but similar. the VOM is less agressive adjustments. this is the blog that nancy has up and running. i am going to be putting my testimonial on it soon. http://thevomlady.blogspot.com/2010/10/about-nancy.html VOM can help with so many things: Acute and non-acute lameness Progressive lameness Hip Dysplasia-like syndromes IV disc disease Progressive myelopathies ("down in the rears" dogs) Urinary and fecal incontinence Unilateral lameness Wobbler's Disease
  8. i love my cricut. my friends here in the northwoods and i do crops a couple times during the winter. gets us out of the house and we have a great time. a few of the girls at the crops walk down to one of the bars and bring their drinks back. we have a great time and if you want to get some pages done find a crop and go have some fun...
  9. just kidding!!! but, really i need an egg roll recipe. they have to be easy to make and i want to make some. so- anyone got a good recipe?
  10. that kind of scared me... i saw crafting and tnbob after it. lol :worship:
  11. this is definitely where fiends can be fiends--- welcome.
  12. we took our cats in our truck camper with us. they are gone now. but, they went a lot of places and were very content just being with us. the first half hour of EVERY trip-they would meow like crazy. then they would settle in. in the truck camper we didn't have much floor space, so, their litter box could only go in one or two places. it never failed at least once each trip the cats would go number 2 and set the monoxide detector off.
  13. thanks.. i know when i had the xray done - i asked if i could take a picture. i didn't think it would turn out and it did. i was so happy. gald you liked it.
  14. Here is a picture that not many have seen. this is louise in fall of 2005-pregnant with her second and last litter. duke and barkley are in this photograph. i just don't know where. lol if you look at the xray, you can see the skulls and the tiny spines, legs, etc. i think it is pretty cool.
  15. they are. we've been there and it is really a neat place to go. they do a pony round up (in spring?) they auction off the babies to keep the population down on the island. we went at christmas time and no one was there. very cool pics - brings back good memories.
  16. Adventure Rv in sieverville, tn-bought our truck camper. great people, at least to us they were. Roskopfs Rv in menomonee falls, wi- bought our first truck camper. our entire family have bought from these guys at some point. Colrain Rv in cincinnati, ohio-bought our seneca here. again, they were great to deal with. Each one of these places were able to give a bottom dollar price - over the phone. never had any haggling with any of these.
  17. there is also Dinosaur Monument? Does anyone know where that is? we stopped and had a good time there. i believe-not positive-that "sue" was found there. you got to tour where the bones are found and see bones in the sand where they had found them. i know it is out that way but, i am not sure if it was east of yellowstone or into s.d. it was definitely a neat stop.
  18. at the grand canyon you can take a mule down into the canyon. but, know one thing first. they are trained to walk on the edge of the trail. they have fat bellies that tend to hang over the edge. they do this so you get the best experience on the trail ride. yeah, uh-huh.. not me- i will just take a walk thank you.. yellowstone-watch for wolf/grizzly spotters. the folks with the big telescopes. stop and talk to them-if they have seen or have something in their view ask if you can take a look. they normally have no problem showing you. it is pretty cool to see grizzlies on a mountain sid
  19. alright this is not at the fort but the magic kingdom. but, look at them-they are sooo good.
  20. a nice long walk before leaving them helps a lot. we used to draw the shades and we still leave the tv on. but, we left the shades open this trip. we bought a no bark electronic thing that sounds like a fire alarm when they bark, it has a silent button on it so only the dogs can hear it. they liked looking out the window and i think for the most part they behaved. at least, until they saw US pull up in the car or the golf cart. but, they always do that-excitement of mom and dad being home. we did try to leave them without the bark thing plugged in and our neighbor (bob) called us and co
