Pick me, pick me.

Please don't assume that all folks who come for long stays are somehow wealthy. Being from AZ, my family and I can only go every 2-3 years. And when we go, we make it a big one. When you have 6 days of driving, you want to stay as long as possible. The time between those trips is spent eating PB&J sandwiches to save money for our next trip. ..and sorry Norm, I drive a diesel truck. Please don't hate me.

For 2013 we thought about one of the parks and then changed our minds at the last minute. Instead we spent it on the beach at the fort and it was fantastic! They have music, games, fireworks, dancing, party favors, etc.

I often think about this. I worry that some day they will want to re-use the land for a higher density.

I guess it didn't change, then. I was on the website today and they had a new slide that takes you to this page. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/my-disney-experience/fastpass-plus-tickets/ Made it seem like this was a new service.

To be more clear, you can do FP+ in advance now.

The website seems to be saying you no longer need resort reservations for FP+. You can do it with just tickets. Is this new or did I miss something?

One warning to you. We only had our PUP for a year before we fell in love and bought a fifth wheel. It can be addicting. :o

We got back to Arizona Friday night. The only thing preventing a deep depression is thinking about our next trip. 2018 can't come soon enough!

This is why we take our dogs to Best Friends while we're out at the parks.

900 loop is closed this week. Wonder what they're working on.

Trip has been great so far. We wanted the 900 loop, but it's closed. Any idea what they're doing? Also there is a cherry picker and portable lights up at River Country. Wonder what that's all about.

Sorry to leave everyone hanging. We had an un-eventful trip and arrived here on Saturday. I didn't fire up my computer until today. Thanks all of you for your wishes and prayers. We're in site 843 if anyone wants to stop by and say hello.

We're hitting the road today from AZ to the Fort. Had a major breakdown during our Christmas 2013 trip so I'm a bit nervous. Prayers, luck wishing, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

Hit the nail on the head there. The only real change they made was closing the loophole which allowed you to shorten your stay after you booked your stay.
