Great update! What a nice surprise you received!! Didn't try the bidet? Wow, that's the first thing I would have done. :flush2: :rofl2:

I absolutely agree with KFK. You guys should be in a magazine or something.

I think the drink package is a great idea. While I have gotten some good deals on cruises in the past, at the end of the week when the tip and bar tab bill comes, that cruise wasn't such a good deal. I would rather pay up front, then go to town.

I love your suspenders!

You kind of skimmed over the gambling night....did you lose your ass? :))

Great, great updates! Thank you! Can't wait for the December trip update.

We did our first cruise one year ago this week. I just loved St. Maarten!! We considered doing the excursion that you guys did, but we actually did a four wheeler tour of the island. It was AWESOME. :)

Congrats again!!

Thanks for still following along everyone!

Great TR and congrats on your marriage! Your wedding photog has some serious skills!

My wife and I honeymooned at Wilderness Lodge, and we also received a free upgrade to concierge. We didn't have shirts, but they asked if we were celebrating anything. Also, one night at Artist Point we received a free desert when our waitress noticed that my wedding band was shiny and new. She asked if we were newlyweds, then brought us dessert with champaigne. Disney rocks at things like that.

I agree our photographer had some skill!

That's awesome ya'll got an upgrade too! I forgot but we also got a free desert at the California Grille!

Diseny does rock!

OK, I wasn't jealous until you posted those cruise photos.

Seaside? Been there, done that.

Contemporary Resort Concierge Level? Been there, done that.

But that cruise!

That ship looks like it puts the DCL ships to shame.

Thanks for sharing, though. I will have to keep Celebrity Cruise Lines in mind.

TCD

Defintely keep Celebrity in mind! They were great and the ship was very new!

The specialty meals were pricy but completly worth it! Plus we booked a 3-dinner package so it wan't too bad.

The service everywhere on board was top notch too!

I've never taken a Disney Cruise but we really want to! That's going to be a future trip but honestly the cost of DCL always pushes us to another line closer to home.

Do you think the new Disney ships are pretty comparable?

That clinches it!! I will be sailing the Eclipse, I don't when but it will happen! Great pictures, Nick. Now on to Disney. :jumpforjoy

You defintely should, or they have a sister ship coming out this year that will probably be better!

Sorry I didn't post more pics of the ship, I had hundreds and didn't want to post to many, if you ever need some info let me know!

Wowie Wow Wow!

Beautiful Wedding! Ya'll should consider making a wedding catalogue. Advertisers would double their sales for sure! Just gorgeous!

There were just too many wonderful things to comment on so I'll just say great job so far and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Thank you!

Although I'm not so sure about that catalouge? lol

Thanks again and I've got more TR coming up!

We loved the drink package! We were the same way on previous cruises and this pre-paid deal really took any worry out of it.

uhh yeah the gambling, pretty much! I didn't lose my whole ass but over the course of the week I definetly lost more than I won. I try to keep it under control though.

Love the cruise pics! I know that Dave will appreciate the Food pics! Congrats again! Looking forward to the Christmas trip!

Thank you!

Yeah I tried to remember to take food pics but I'm bad about it, but that last mean we kept the camera out the whole time!

The Christmas trip is coming up!

I will! It was a beautiful view for beautiful people!! It's the "newlywed glow"!

Great Magic Kingdom and cruise pics too!

Thank you!

Looks like a great honeymoon!!!!!

And yes you are a GREAT Looking Couple!!!

Thanks! It was a great honeymoon! I could use a trip like that every year!

Another update coming up.

After getting back from our Honeymoon, we only had 19 days until our next Disney trip! We are very lucky! We are trying to travel as much as we can now while we can.

Sorry to ramble but I’ll have to lay this story out for you:

We booked this December trip during our Fourth of July stay at the Wilderness Lodge, using the bounce back offer they put in the rooms. When I booked it the lady asked if we would be celebrating anything, so I told her it would be our first trip to Disney after our wedding (the contemporary stay was a last minute decision). She told me she would make this a special stay for us, we didn’t think anything of it. We booked a standard room at the Boardwalk Resort.

On our drive up to DisneyWorld on Friday Dec. 16th we talked about how lucky we were with our last room and we’ll probably never get anything like that again. Well when we drove up to the Boardwalk, the guard took our name and welcomed us home, then walking in the door we were greeted by name and told they would escort us to check-in. We walked through the lobby and the castmember started giving us a tour on the way to the elevator. He was taking us to the concierge private check-in desk!

We didn’t know what to say, we actually were really nervous, no one said anything to us, no congratulations or anything, they acted like we had booked a concierge level.

As we were being checked in on the 4th floor at the Inn Keepers Club, the nice young lady had all our information and custom check-in packet ready for us. Then she said “your Garden Suite is all ready for you”.

Excuse me?

Did she say Garden Suite?

My mind started running, really a garden suite??? I checked our receipt, it was right it showed our very discounted rate.

Have you ever heard of a Garden Suite? They are private two story suites, with private gardens and gates located in the center of the resort.

She must have misspoke, right? Then she escorted us to our own private garden gate!

Holy crap! We were grinning and thanking this poor girl like crazy! She was confused because she thought we booked the room ourselves. (I didn’t tell her we didn’t) When she left we shut the door and did a little dance!! We couldn’t believe it!

So not only did we get upgraded to a Concierge level room, we also had a garden suite!!!!!!

Ok enough talk here’s what you want to see, pictures of the room!

First of all, congratulations on your nuptuals! What a beautiful wedding! It looks like you had a great time too. (I definitely have to get to Seaside at some point, it looks beautiful there.)

Second, holy upgrades batman! I can't believe you were able to get not one but two such awesome upgrades.

Can't wait for more of your trip report....

Holy crap.

Ok, so first the beautiful wedding in Seaside. Then the magical upgrade at the CR. Then there was the phenominal cruise. The beautiful pics of it all. And now THIS???

Are you just trying to make our lives seem crappy in comparison? LOL!! I'm kidding! It's so awesome and magical...you guys sure had a good month!

So I'm just curious...are y'all planning on starting a family? Cause once kids come along, all this really nice stuff goes away and you'll be posting pics of your breakfast at Cracker Barrel like me.

In all seriousness, I've always said I'd never trade my kids for ANYTHING! But that was before I saw pics of that Garden Suite! Now I'm not too sure....

Ok fine...I'm kidding again! Sort of.

But I am NOT kidding about loving this trip report WBI. Keep it coming!
