PureTcrazy...rita 380
I'm in the Florida panhandle and they are TERRIBLE! You can hear them hitting the car as you drive!
devores 382
From the Fort:A few here and there, but not bad yet. The mosquitos are another story......
SCTigerCock 171
Any loops better than others? Another war campaign? Take spray. And beer.
devores 382
300 is the worst. Its surrounded by water so its to be expected. Then the group camping and 2000. The beach is pretty bad when the sun goes down. If youre watching the fireworks, spray up before heading out there.
SCTigerCock 171
Are they doing any spraying?
devores 382
I saw spraying last week, but nothing since.
stefa70 205
The love bugs have arrived here in central Florida. In the last week or so they are everywhere!
fortpartyof4 108
My windshield is disgusting! Stupid lovebugs. When we were at the fort a month ago, the bugs were bad at the movie as well for those of you who like to go to that. Even near the fire pits we were getting bit.I just keep a can of Off on the golf cart.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
OK- we have heard from the Panhandle, Central Florida and North East Florida. They all have love bugs.I have made two round trips up and down the west coast of Florida from the Tampa Bay area to Tallahassee in the last two weeks. And the love bugs are all over here too.As far as mosquitoes at the Fort go, I wouldn't worry about it, they do spray and stay on top of it during this time of the year. One day it may be bad, but the next day it won't.TCD
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
How long are the love bugs out? And the mosquitoes? Will we have both of them late October?
devores 382
Honestly, I do not find the love bugs bad at all here at the Fort. Granted, you do have to drive through them to get here. but Ive only seen a few. Nothing like Im used to. The skeeters are only bad at night when it cools down. FWRR3 10
Gwen, I should have added that the love bugs will be gone long before Halloween, actually in a couple of weeks. And so far they haven't been bad at all where I live, nearby.
Lou... 3,118
After 3 hours of driving around WDW on friday, I had only a few on the windshield.
