  1. Oh No, both sides of my brain are competing! Am I snarky or helpful? snarky or helpful?? Must. Be. Both. My head is exploding. :rofl3: Only kidding...I think I can manage.
  2. I figured there was a "breaking in period." Ya know, when newbies try to be useful to others and earn their way prior to become snarky. I, am, however, happiest being a generally snarky person - - thus making this board my home away from home. I shall hence forth refrain from attempts to be useful, as it was counterintuitive to my natural state. :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
  3. O.M.G. SUCH a freakin' cute dog. I. CAN'T. TAKE. THAT. MUCH. CUTE! I realize this post is not at all helpful to the thread. But it had to be said.
  4. Really enjoyed the program. We watched it on the "Watch ABC" App on the Apple TV....I assume it is still up there.
  5. Yes, and give them a detailed list of species they must check off before returning. Can't find the giraffe?? Tough noogers kid - keep looking!
  6. Late to the show, BUT as far as backing in to a preferred site, it is tough - - though in my experience, there is no shortage of folks at fort who will come out of the woodwork to help you get backed in. We were having a ton of trouble on our last trip out and 3-4 different people came out to help guide. Ultimately, someone with WAY more experience ended up backing it in for us. :wave1: :wave1: :wave1: :welcome: :wave1: :wave1: :wave1:
  7. Looked it up....I *THINK* we are in luck! Indian Bread all around!!!  https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/animal-kingdom-villas-kidani/sanaa-lounge/menus/
  8. OOOHHHH, I have heard that is great! Would love to try it!
  9. What is Duck Confit? I always picture duck confetti (something else I have never seen).
  10. Hey, Ho, Fiendom! We are heading to the Fort in November and I have a dining question. We are spending most of our excess cash on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but still want to have one or two fun dining experiences on the cheap. Was thinking maybe we would hit two different places and split a couple of appetizers at each. Any recommendations? We are two adults and a picky 10-year old (and I am not opposed to just shoving a PBJ at her if she won't eat what we order).
  11. We have done the AAA package several times before we bought APs. Generally, we saved about $100-$120 per reservation over booking the room and tickets through disney. When we got our itemized bill, it always looked to me like the discount was really only on the site and the tickets were full price. We have never done the dining plan simply because we don't eat out enough to make it worth it - mainly because we'd go broke if we did. We like to carry in snacks and light meals and save our dining out for dinner shows or character dining places (we only do ONE of these per trip), vs eating expens
  12. I have the solution...it is perfect and fair (though perhaps not easily enforced as its content might be viewed as seriously subjective). Eliminate pet/non-pet loops and instead begin asshat/non-asshat loops or idiot/idiot free loops. The idiots can all stay in one loop together. Would that work? :smartass: :rofl2:
  13. Oh, and i LOVE him. ":smiley-raising-waving-hand:" :smiley-raising-waving-hand:
  14. I can be really annoying with my spreadsheets - - which are updated daily by the way. You can never be to careful. Ha! Excellent. Let's try this ... :yourock:
  15. :rofl2: I'll never remember all these code. Perhaps I'll just learn the code for the ninja. He's my favorite. Or the dude going down the toilet :flush2: :flush2:
  16. Thank you so much! This helps a lot in my continuing effort to convice hubs that trip is a great idea. Since I am a freakish vacation budgeter, I can now add this all to a speardsheet and give him a bottom line. Good luck to them, too! Perhaps we will all have good results!
  17. Cool idea! We get poop gas mileage when we are towing the 5th wheel...as in maybe 10 miles to the gallon. We get 16-17 with out the tow. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it to store? If you do mind me asking, just ignore the question completely! Hahahahaha! (Insert laughing emoji here...I can't do it on my phone.)
  18. :rofl2: Try the roof perhaps? That's my back-up plan. The turn 45-degree turn on the staircase is tricky. And the baby pool at the base of the stairs makes a big mess. Might try the travel agent thing...i've used a AAA agent in the past, but it seems like discounts are coming few and far between. :banghead: We would be coming in an RV. I'll have to check the cancellation window of the other resorts near by. TBH, I have not convinces Hubs that this is a good idea. We are going for a week in November, so i'm not sure he is really going to go for another trip so soon - - - and if we do, it
  19. So, just a general question for anyone out there in Fiendom who is like me and doesn't get around to making Christmas reservations until everything is all booked up... Ya'll ever had luck picking up a reservation at the last minute during late December? I know there is a 5 day cancellation policy, so I'm hoping some poor sap will decide not to go at the last minute and I will get crazy lucky. The dilemma (first world problem, I know) - - - do I book a house off site or just hope against hope that I can get in at the Fort???? Or as previously stated...should I just stay home and we can ta
  20. Oh how I love smart asses!! If I weren't on my phone, I'd finally have the opportunity to use the amazing little smart ass emoji!!!!!
