  1. Congrats on the new rig. It really is a beauty! :)
  2. Thanks for the link. I bookmarked it for myself and sent it to my daughter!
  3. I have a small unique, brightly colored flag (about 6 inches high) that hooks onto the handle of the stroller and makes it easier for us to locate the stroller when it is parked among the masses of similar looking strollers!
  4. One of my pet peeves is when you fit time in your trip to get some laundry done and some other camper will have used one or more washers/dryers and just leave their clothes lying in the machines long after the cycles have finished.
  5. If you have been out in your vehicle and come back to the site at a late hour, please try to be considerate to your neighbors and keep the noise levels down by not slamming all four doors as hard as you can and then talking so loud that the campers 3 sites down can hear each word!
  6. I purchased mine through Undercover tourist.com. When you check out their prices remember that they already include tax (and free shipping). Disney prices online do not include tax. Also, if you sign up to Mousesavers.com they will send you a monthly newsletter (on the 15th of the month) and it includes a link to Undercover tourist that has a slight discount above the everyday one. Hope this helps!
  7. If I close my eyes I can actually hear it! :rofl2: (I SO wish I were there!)
  8. Welcome Niegel..I must say that I just love your accent! :rofl2:
  9. We use the Disney Visa to earn Disney dollars towards each trip. You get $1 Disney dollar for each $100 dollars put on the card. It takes some extra work keeping track and making sure you pay the balance in full each month (You MUST pay off the monthly charges in FULL each month or else the interest will certainly cost more than the dollars earned), but we are able to put our real estate taxes (which is the ONLY time I am glad that Jersey has high taxes LOL), car insurance, cable bill, cell phone bill, gasoline, and everything else we can on the card. We pay it off before it is due, hence no
  10. We have twice reserved a preferred site (200 loop) and love the location, but we are going to try to request a non-pet premium next time we go. We figure to eventually try all types out for a change of pace. :rofl2:
  11. Digital video recorder..Another name for Tivo (sp?). When our cable company first offered it I thought it would be a waste of money, but now, I would probably do without my morning coffee before I gave up my DVR (well, almost :raspberry:)
  12. Actually I think I need to get a louder fan (but the 2 glasses of wine seems like so much more fun! :wine:). I am an extremely light sleeper so I am sure the train would not bother most campers, and the CG was such a convenience that we will most likely stay there again.
  13. Welcome to the Funny Farm..oh sorry, meant the Funny Fort! :wine:
  14. Any reviews on the Garden Grove Buffet at the Swan Hotel? We have ressies for Southern Barbecue nithe. It is a character dinner (and coupons from Restaurant.com are accepted ) Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on it. Thanks!
  15. Just an FYI, but on last check (according to MouseSavers) the Earl of Sandwich gives a 15% AAA discount. Every dollar helps! :D
  16. We had the tuna sandwich for lunch one day and it really hit the spot. We sat by the pool and listened to the DJ, it was a nice time for all!
  17. We have ressies for here in June. (We will not be at the Fort :(because we are only taking a short trip this time), but have heard great things about Cape May. (The fact that the restaurant has the same name as our hometown makes our 5yo GD think it's just for her! :D).
  18. We too have stayed here twice and while I agree with the fact that I could drown out the traffic noise with a fan I definitely had some trouble with the trains that run by (all night) nearby. The campground itself was a great overnight stop for us, easy off, easy on, with a very friendly staff. We weren't lucky enough to get to see Camper the dog (but had read about him on a campground review site). We will probably stay here again but I will definitely next time have a glass of wine (or two) :D before bed to help drown out that train!
