  1. I couldn't find a nice 450, bit the 350 should do just fine. Can't wait to try it out
  2. I'll be right behind you! 2016 CCLB 4x4 6.7 DRW ,3.73 gears. So far so good!
  3. Still looking for these. We had to put one of our dogs down unexpectedly a few weeks ago and it would be awesome to find some. I'm going to call the fort tomorrow to see if anyone can point me in the right direction .
  4. Anyone have any opinions or dealings wit this dealer? They are stocking 4 almost idential leftover trucks equipped almost to a tee of what I have built online, that I have never seen on a dealers lot. Thanks.
  5. As it says, we were in the parade with our 2 weiner dogs and I was wondering if anyone got any good shots of us? The girls running the event did stop us to take our pics with a big camera but never said where I could see or buy them. Was anyone else there?
  6. You got my wheels turning and now I've been doing a little research on the f450 for a new truck. It looks like the new 450s are too tall for my garage and I really wanted the turn radius improvement. I found a package on the 350 drw until 2016 called the heavy payload aka "Tow Boss" package that gives you the 450 front axle on a 350 chassis. I've learned to tell them apart while searching by the big front fender flare just like the 450 uses. This could get interesting.
  7. Not that I've ever seen. Just jack some from the cabin!
  8. That's almost 2 full 35 gallon tanks with the v10. Can't wait to hear more.
  9. Sweet! I've told the wife a few times that if I could get it in the garage we'd get a 450 for sure. That's a relay nice truck, and you have to give us serious, no BS mpg numbers empty and with your 5er. Can't wait to hear how you like it Congratulations
  10. If you've got the cash and think it's right for you, do it. I can see how you could sell yourself on it, but I'd look at a 10 year spread. 100 points at 100 bucks is 10k. 650 a year maintenance with a recurring 4pct increase will cost you another 7500 (whether you go or not). Over the 10 year "payoff" it's 1750 a year for a 4 day trip. For me right now, that's a week at the Fort and 2 sets of 3 day tickets. It's hard to judge how anyone spends their vacation, but Dave Ramsey would yell me no to any timeshare. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. This is a great write-up. Sorry about all of the drama with the camper but you were all safe in the end. I wish I had been taken on a trip like this when I was a kid- you are brave to do this mostly solo.
  12. You could get a room for just the maintenance fees you'll pay. And you'll pay them FOREVER. I've never seen the draw.
  13. We've also day tripped to Lori Wilson. Seemed like a nice place, lots of parking lots of beach space. There were a few beach rental stores we spotted that you could rent some chairs for the day. We travel with our beach gear now though. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. That's good to have a recent review of a mobile tech from a first hand fiend. What was the ballpark hourly rate and road call fee? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  15. Go to Troegs! Great beer, great food!
  16. Thanks for the heads up Jason. A premium site from the 12th to the 18th is only around 80 bucks with that deal.
  17. I didn't think it was like that since i had 2 chairs in what would be water on the last trip down. Why use an outdated pic though.....false advertising!
  18. This pool does not exist correct? Did they really photoshop the kiddie pool in to make this pic? This is right off of the new fort wilderness landing page on wdw.com Why? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  19. There are a lot of comments going on over at the GD forum about this exact issue surfacing. This will become a major issue because all of the manufacturers use the lippert frames. I'm going to inspect mine really well in the next few days. Hopefully it sounds like nothing that a mobile welding guy couldn't handle.
  20. I do believe it's a cougar they own.... I wonder what is wrong? I'm sure that I can dig up some help on the Grand Design Forum I joined, lots of smart guys with contacts over there. Good Luck NaCole! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  21. We already want to go back too. I like thinking about the warm weather, swimming, riding bikes, the beautiful scenery etc. I wish there was an evening ticket of some sort so we could just wander around, take some pics, smell the foods and such. It's a great place, and I think I like it more when we do less.
  22. 406 has much better screening from the road/sidewalk. We did like the sidewalk right there, but my outdoor kitchen was only 5 feet from it. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
