  1. Thanks TCD, He's (and Mom & myself) very excited to be a part of the Gator Nation. He has lots of friends already attending there, and several more arriving in the Fall. Some of his friends who live off-campus depend heavily on the bus app just as you mentioned, and from what I've heard, the buses are nice and frosty inside. This time of year while waiting for a WDW bus (which can also be quite frosty inside) you could end up drenched in perspiration or rainfall before finally boarding a frosty bus. A mobile app like this might be an incredible advantage for "bus-challenged" guests, especi
  2. Interesting, we had just learned of this mobile app feature when we were visiting the University of Florida last month during our son's Summer B preview. What an awesome way of keeping track of the buses whereabouts when you might be running short of time between classes.
  3. Ha, I have to laugh at myself. When I first read the thread topic, I honestly envisioned "Bus Monitors" riding the bus, standing by the door in the aisle checking for freeloaders with coolers headed to the pool! :popo:
  4. "My two week globetrotting tour was over. I smiled as I drove across Tampa Bay on the way home. Man, I'm blessed to live where I do. Now I can say that I've been to Dublin, London and Paris. And, I know more than ever that there's no place like home. And that's the end of the trip. TCD" What an epic trip this was. After weeks of reading about all of this travel to famous, historic destinations and seeing all of the sights, the people watching, and to top it all off, the return to Orlando & WDW. I can just picture driving across Tampa bay with all of these fresh memories
  5. I'm so sorry for coming into this so late, but dam! This trip report is the one I've been destined to discover, I just sort of accidentally clicked on "click HERE to read it", and dam! All the wasted years. I doo want to offer one thing, instead of using the despised word "amazing", I actually refer to the word they from the movie "The Bench Warmers", that word is "amazazing". The Troll is saying all the things we're really thinking, but not uttering. We love disney deep down, maybe it's because we're from the 20th century, and have enough nostalgia still in our nostalgia tanks that it somehow
  6. I think I realize now, why the river looks so appealing, besides the obvious "paradise" look. I don't see a single soul in the shots. We don't really do water parks since the boys were little, but I do remember them being so congested with tubers that it's a little difficult to relax. (You feel something touching your ear, turn around and its some dude's big toe) This river is calling me
  7. Dave, this TR is awesome. The resort, food, drinks, River, hammock looks absolutely amazing. It's hard to imagine that places like this are just down the road from us and we never stay at them. Congratulations on 20 years, may God bless your marriage for many, many more!
  8. What a great, thorough read. TCD, you are the trip report MASTER!
  9. DW & I are reading this TR and loving the pics of you & Sarah having a great time. Anxious to see how the rest of the report goes
  10. "She forgot her hair dryer :o" I read this part of the TR to DW, and she agreed wholeheartedly that it was indeed a very BIG DEAL!
  11. Man, I just love "ol-timey" Disney pics, and these are great shots. You look like a happy young'n in these!
  12. "Duh, from RV! Can you believe that I haven't seen this movie yet? It is now on the must see list." https://www.youtube....h?v=g5MYIsARoQo That is one of the more heartwarming scenes in movie history. You really do need to watch "RV", the whole family can see it. Trip report is great so far, anxious to read & see more.
  13. I've been doing a little more research and have stumbled upon THESE. Would love to get one in orange http://www.lamesarv.com/2015-Winnebago%20Towables-MINNIE-FNW74121 http://winnebagoind.com/products/towables/2015/minnie/exterior/graphics
  14. "First, I have been racking my brain trying to remember this scene. Help!" Ahh, the scene is when Robin Williams is attempting to hook up his sewer line for the very first time on the rented RV. The 2 guys helping him show him how to connect the 2 sections of hose using a "Y" coupling. As he holds the "Y" coupling up high, the sewage begins to crest right in front of his face; "TURN IT OFFFF!" Hahaha
