  1. Wow! I am extremely humbled by all the responses. I have a buy week ahead, so I may not be as fast as I normally am, but I'm trying. Welcome aboard! I'll do my best. It was a great time. Thanks so much for joining. Yay Rita!! You will be making an appearance soon. We've spent so much time together, you could probably write the rest! :highfive: Happy to have you! Good job Betsy and thanks for joining! Thanks, me too! Sometimes I wonder how some people even possess a license. Thanks for making snacks TJ! (and for not one, but TWO, bear hugs!) Brent!! We've decided keg-style actually keep
  2. Boat bells ring, Are ya listening? In the Fort, the sun is glistening. A beautiful site, The party's tonight, Walking in a Disney wonderland...... Nobody does Christmas like Disney does Christmas, so it's time to hitch up the rv and head to the Fort. We left home on Thursday, November 29th with reservations until Tuesday, December 4th. Mason loaded up. As soon as this picture was taken, my camera died. Lens out, won't turn on or off. CRAP! I refuse to go to WDW without my camera! Before I threw it across the street, Trevor took the card and battery out, wiped both off and put them back in. V
  3. You did sort of pick on Troll and I for taking notes. I can't speak for Norm but when I say I take notes, I "jot" A typical days notes look like this: 6:00 breakfast Carol MK beer party at judys bed by midnight. Just keeps things in order. Otherwise I would mess up days or forget something. (might not be a bad idea for you ^-^) As for the TV, even though ours are digital capable, I still had to reprogram them to find the digital channels. NBD, but glad I had read everyone else's issues. Who reads the check-in package anyhow? HUBBA HUBBA @ the firefighters. Happy that there were no bats in that
  4. Nice work TJ! Still cool no matter how many times you see them.
  5. All good points and good call for Dave and family. I agree no matter who does it, it's beautiful. We had Andy Garcia this time so there was some spanish translation going on. My spanish sucks, I had no clue what he was saying, but still awesome.
  6. We attempted the 6:45 show, but for reasons I will explain in my TR, we were about 10 minutes late. NBD, we still were able to stand along the back. Last year we tried to see Neil Patrick Harris and it was chaos! (also a Saturday) I ended up sitting outside the America's restaurant while Donnie, Trevor and Lil Bee went inside to eat. I couldn't see anything, but I could hear it, and that's really all you need.
  7. We went last night. I thought being a Monday it wouldn't be packed. HA! We went to the 6:45 show and stood along the rope in the back of the theater, which was fine. There was already a huge standby line formed for the next showing as we walked by. If I really wanted to sit, I would look into the dinner package, otherwise I would just walk up and stand in the back. I won't wait for hours for anything. No matter where you are near the theater you can hear the narration and the music.
  8. Who knew Peter Pan was so popular? The Peter Pan Fan, kind of creepy. Hey whatever creams your Twinkie (RIP) I guess. The Rescuers did fly with Orville. Still not sure if that fits in with the flying theme, but it's all I got. :)
  9. Sounds like you're having a great time! We too rode by a few times and never saw anyone around. In my book, that means you're out having fun. :jumpforjoy
  10. That turkey sandwich looks amazing! There was quite a line there yesterday afternoon, so we didn't spend too much time in that area. I have a feeling that that will be the norm for a while. The good thing about that is it will keep the other areas less congested. As for that damn Four Seasons: Have you seen it at night? We drove to Epcot last night and when coming back I took some night pics of the MK gate and the Fort sign. I quit when I saw that eyesore all lit up! UGH!
  11. :rofl2: When I read this quickly, I saw: "Brain has decreased" Same thing I guess. I agree with all of this. Reminds me of the movie Talledega Nights when Ricky Bobby put Wonder bread across his windshield, did the ads for the Chinese candy, or Tampons, or when they were at the dinner table and he said he had to mention Power Ade in every prayer, per his sponsor contract. While it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, it hits close to home. It's all about the almighty dollar. As for Kurt, I don't think he'll ever learn until he is tossed to the curb! Even better! A lot of people think baseball
  12. :lmao1: Nice update! As for Trev's camping outfit, it involved shorts, one of his work sweatshirts (with a grease stain on the front) black ankle socks, and black sandals. I've seen each of these things separate, just not as an ensemble. It will be in my TR whenever I can get it started. I would love to coordinate a camping trip when the temps warm up! I will even spring for the McDonald's ice tea to hide the evidence quench our thirsts. Without falling into the TMI category: When Nate was young we always bought store brand drinks. No matter what store (walmart, winn dixie, or publix) and no
  13. I'm late, but I'm in! I've never been to the other Fort. The times I want to go (summer when we can bring the boat) has to be booked so far in advance. With our businesses it's impossible to know if we can get away at that time. I actually thought about you yesterday when Trevor came out in the goofiest most attractive camping outfit I've seen since you're high water PJ pants. Of course, I took a picture. He did look at me funny when I said "Hold still, I need to take your picture for MD" ^-^
  14. Donnie & I just had this discussion yesterday. I still love the sport but they have turned them into cookie cutter cars. Unfortunately, I think it's only going to get worse.
  15. The spankula is back!! :jumpforjoy Everything after that was just a blur. (I'm easily distracted)
  16. And a sweet hug it was!! Hope the journey home is going well!
  17. Mo, we strolled by last night, all was dark. Hope to see you before you leave or at least wave to you as you go by. :wave1:
  18. I'm caught up again. I feel as if I'm living it....oh wait, I am! :) Mom jeans or not, this twin thinks you're still cool. Better than hip huggers. :animated-smileys-character-024:
  19. :rofl2: And people wonder why I have a special place in my heart for TCD.
  20. Love the book references. I may need a cold shower now. :rofl2: "mom jeans" :yourekillinme:
  21. You know I'm giggling at the pass situation. Giggling because we've done it. I am the official pass holder for everyone too. It doesn't always work out so well. What's up with the height measurement on the wall?! I already know twin #1 has a couple inches on me, so I guess I'll be about 12? :- I'll hold all comments on the book translation. Not very Disney like. Wonder what's going to happen when a young french child starts reading it aloud?
  22. Now I KNOW the world will be ending soon! :raspberry:
  23. As many years as we've seen the Osborne lights, just last year we actually saw the flip of the switch too! Not really exciting, but the little girl they picked was excited and that's really what it's all about. ( or is that the Hokey Pokey? ) So Vanelope is a trouble maker, and she still reminds you of me?! That is so untrue! Ask all of my friends, they will tell you I'm a perfect angel.
  24. Someone didn't put on their listening ear (Notice I said ear, singular) The #2 team won the championship, and as I said before, they had a great year! That includes the entire team and Brad, as a driver. Brad's mouth, is what lost him a lot of fans. When JR, who was Brads ticket into Nascar and one of the least eloquent speakers, says: "Brad says stupid stuff that he knows nothing about. His place is behind the wheel, not the microphone" you know things are bad. The two most recent ones that come to mind are "Nascar should ban all meds, performance enhancements, and even Flintstone vitamins" S
