A couple of weeks ago I stayed at the Fort for the first time in a rented camper. We have always brought our own camper in the past, but wanted to try out something bigger. The process could not have been easier! We rented from Greenberg and they had the camper hooked up and waiting for us when we arrived about 2:00pm. They set up an outdoor rug, camping chairs, an outdoor fan, and even attached a tablecloth to the picnic table. They got the site # straight from Disney. On check out day we just left the keys on the table and drove away. Greenberg is having a promotion with significantly reduced rates in September, so we have booked another trip for then. I can't wait!

I just wanted to take a second to give every one a heads up for tomorrow. Disney has announced that new bookings online and by phone will be down all day starting at 2 am tonight. Also it appears dining will be down for at least part of the day. Currently saying dining will be offline from 5 am to 9am. Fastpass+ is not supposed to be down as far as we know.

Can I suggest maybe headed to Aquatica (Sea World's water park)? My family all liked it infinitely more than either TL or BB.

Great decision!  I was going to jump in and vote for that... definitely save the money and just have fun at The Fort.  Halloween is crazy there 

We are spending our first Halloween at the Fort too! 

I really want to bring my grandchildren over for the couple days around Halloween. I didn't realize the Fort did anything special. I thought just the guests took trick or treat upon themselves. 

If you are at the Fort on Halloween, you would be making a huge mistake by going to the parks and missing all of the assorted activities at the Fort.
It's one of the biggest events of the year, and they have started spreading out the fun on 2 or 3 days and not just on Halloween itself.
Look back on some of the past Halloween activity guides to get an idea of what is in store for you.

MNSSHP is a great event, but it pales in comparison to the Fort on Halloween night. My children have had so much fun during Halloween night at the Fort that they begged to go back this year after missing it this past year and the oldest is 19 and the youngest is 11. I am sure we will go to MNSSHP but it will not be Halloween night.

This is a no brainer.
Definitely do not pay $100+ a ticket to go to MNSSHP on Halloween night.
The Fort is a blast on Halloween night.

To fax, I usually just google "free fax" and find a site offering a free first fax.  I use that to make my site request.  Easy-peasy.

Exactly what Carol said. I also send in a fax request for clients with both reservations noted and asking to be next to each other to back that request up. 

Have your reservations "linked" with a "travel with" number by the reservation system. (Call reservations and request this.)
Request that your sites be adjacent to each other when you link them.

But the $700 cabana and $50 ice cream social guests will need to stop by there and get their new outfits before being seen in their exclusive cabana or eating ice cream on the riverboat deck!

Yeah, well, I'm renting one and you losers can't come in.
