  1. Right there with you! Glad to hear it has such a tame meaning.
  2. My very first first page post! Awesome. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the trip. I love you can see the screen in your home pictures. Who in their right mind would open the door to take that picture? How can the kids be anything but great travelers, they are headed to the happiest place on earth. We also hit the Disney movies hard on that long trip to the Fort. We actually don't let the kids take non-Disney movies with them on our Fort trips (for some reason I feel Lou lurking to pounce on that remark because I am being to googly eyed about Disney but I'm gonna say it anyway).
  3. Looking forward to the dueling trip reports
  4. Looking forward to more. What else are you gonna do? Besides heckle him during the many hours he spends trying to figure out the best way to actually write a trip report, but seriously why leave the Fiends out on that fun! Thanks for thinking to share it with us.
  5. Only TCD can make a few hours at Disney into a full blown trip report and keep us all on the edges of our seats and drooling on our computers in anticipation of more.
  6. Note to self... if one wants to avoid sitting on the ground at DHS for this long show, don't have the 3yr old on your lap when you read a thread about it. Now that he's seen Doc and Jake in the pictures he's gonna make us go to it over spring break. Man!
  7. Oh please!!! Us Midwesterners know how to do a job right and in a timely fashion! But.... Aaron, how on earth did you do it in 3 stops? 5 sounds reasonable. Was no one allowed to drink or eat the whole way?
  8. I sit on the fence on this one. I love the Boneyard and I hate Honey I Shrunk the Kids. The kids love both. Now Dumbo, I am still not sure about. We have played in it alot, but we have always been the only ones there or nearly the only ones there. I don't like how they split it by ages. It doesn't allow my 9 yr old litle mama to be with my toddler and 5yr old. She does a nice job of sticking close to them on playgrounds to keep them from hurting themselves or being hurt by others. The kids would rather play in the Winnie the Pooh queue than this one. So I guess I agree with the ones who thin
  9. Well, then start looking at 5th wheels. We love our Open Range bunkhouse and we only have 4 kids.
  10. Anyone else notice the DVD playing in the video is Dave Ramsey? The financial advisor who believes you should pay cash for everything and never take an auto loan. Well-played salesmen with the subtle hint to pay cash for this luxurious and nice truck.
  11. Where's that snap chat feature when you really need it? You could fuego him right here.
  12. That's it!! Now that sounds way too practical. I believe in the power of dreams. Dreams come true! Dreams come true! Dreams come true!
  13. We have 6 in our family and fifth wheel with a similar set up. We love it. We opted for the U-shaped sofa the entire length of the slide with insertable tables at both corners of the sofa to eat at. Did I mention we love this layout. We traded in our travel trailer with the twin over the double bunk for the 4 bunks in our fith wheel. When you start talking that many people and all their possessions (clothes, towels, toys, etc). It's hard to not want the true bunkhouse. We have also looked into extending our F350 into a 7 or 8 passenger vehicle. It costs around $30,000 to make the 4 door a
  14. Great Trip Report, although it took a long time to catch up, but I finally did. We are Cheerwine family too. Here in northeast Ohio there is a BBQ place that serves it fountain in the restaurant and by the case for carryout orders. My husband mixes the Cheerwine with Coke when we eat in. It's a great combo. My children although much younger are also Waldo finding fans, especially my kindergarten son. Dave's tasted like cookies and cream and mine a few days earlier tasted like almond. Weird. The BuckeyeFortFamily loves the Tiki room and has been known to break out in the tiki room song at
  15. That's exactly what I told him Kelly-we so need to meet up at spring break-we think very alike! Do you see mini-Cinderella's disgusted look? It looks like she's calling "Jazzmine" some really bad names in her head. it might not be just the adults that question the "uniform" Jasmine wears.
  16. Just an update. We are staying through Easter and leaving on Monday. School is overrated anyway compared to extra time at the Fort.
  17. Hooray! Perfect timing for you as there is some snow up here in the midwest!
  18. We have used a messenger bag as our diaper/park bag for years. We love it. I purposefully chose one with a lap top section because that extra padding works great for insulation, keeping our frozen collapsible water bottles and yogurt sticks cold. It absorbs any sweating from the water bottles. The sling is nice for getting on and off rides and goes really nicely on the double umbrella stroller we use
  19. I won't be snarky and insist on having you tell my husband (BuckeyeFortFan) that I am indeed wise! Instead I will totally agree with you. They are only little once. All too soon they will take off for the MK while BFF and I set up the camper. I don't want to wish away these days, they are too precious. I also know that your time spent in the boneyard was before EE and Nemo and that makes a world of difference when it comes to filling out a day in that park. You had time to waste in the rock pit, finding socks, and kids among the bones.
  20. We frequently use the "let the kids beg to go in" so we can make the deal that if we "allow" them to go in and play they must promise not to go over to the rock pit or we will "never" go in this playground again. It works like a charm because they love that playground. We park ourselves on that bench between the baby slide and exit. You can see nearly the whole playground from there and the 2 yr old will go up and down those baby slides forever. BuckeyeFortFan and I then use this time to catch up on our media things-fort fiends, facebook, txting, checking out wait times, etc and sometimes jus
  21. Here's a picture of the kids playing in the rocks for those who have no clue what this looks like because they avoid this playground (thus making this park a half day park). Notice how endless this rock pit is...
  22. Being new to the daily checking of this board. I'm just reading this. How cool. We live near the Holmes County Amish and I have eaten at the Welshfield Inn numerous times, my Alma mater is just down the corner. Fun reading your trip report. If I keep connecting with these trip reports I may just forget that whole wolverine thing
  23. We saw Canada for the first time with him just this past trip. I thought he did a nice job!
  24. If one can assign Fuegos like stars, would they be balls of fire? Would the grayed out Fuego be a ball not on fire? I am just waiting to see a Fuego pop up in the available smileys. Honestly if I was a computer whiz I'd be posting those balls of fire right now, just to be snarky.
