  1. This site looks pretty cool and has some good info and recipes, so I thought I'd share it. We used to make the omelets in a bag he talks about, and I had forgotten about them, so I'm glad to rediscover them. I love an easy breakfast with little clean up! http://campingwithgus.com/
  2. I wish I was! Many PM people who are on the calendar near you. You don't have to match up exactly, just be in about the same 2 week period.
  3. I'm interested in booking a non-Disney cruise for next April. Is anyone here a travel agent for non-Disney cruises?
  4. We just did one for our last trip with a group I found on TourGuide Mike. We took so many pictures, and it was nice to know that we wouldn't be limited in what we got, but I'd hate to pay over $100 for them. We're about to get our pictures back, so I'm excited! I was just curious if any shares happen between people here.
  5. We ended up leaving later than we would have usually but soooo worth it! They also do a hunt for a golden egg with clues given at certain intervals, but that didn't start until 11:30.
  6. The kids woke up to Disney themed Easter baskets. The little guy and I headed down to the settlement for characters and candy scramble while hubby and DD16 slept. DS3 was given a bag to color, but decided it made a great hat. Then it was time to meet Thumper. For the candy scramble, they had separate areas for each age group, and they made pictures with different colors of candy. This is the 4 and under area. A cast member got on a ladder and took pictures of all of them. I wish I had those! My kid is kind of OCD, so he's examining the candy instead of just shoveling into his bag. After
  7. We actually ate at Mama Melrose on our spring break trip. We did the Fanstasmic lunch package because I had never seen Fantasmic and wasn't going to wait 2 hours for a seat. I've heard of long waits, but they open at 12, and that's when our ressie was, so we didn't wait at all. We had the antipasta platter, Caprese salad, and calamari for apps... all very good! DD had the seafood pasta, and DH and I both got the steak. All of the entrees were good. I should add that we fed DS3 off our plates. Then came the dessert platter! Yum! It had the 2 pictured above, plus the panna cotta. We headed back
  8. What if one of your kids is over 9, so counts as an adult? Still only 2 adult tickets per family?
  9. We were celebrating DD’s 16th birthday on our trip, so we decided to visit Cinderella’s Royal Table to celebrate. After all, even teens think it’s cool to eat in the castle. I hadn't eaten there in a really long time, so I was excited too. We wanted to take advantage of shorter lines in the early morning, so we made an ADR for 10:20. It’s an expensive meal, but that way it would also double as lunch. I was worried that we would have a long wait, since I’d heard that CRT can get backed up, but that’s not what we experienced. We arrived at 10:10, checked in, and got in line to meet Cindy. There
  10. I saw Fantasmic for the first time this trip and liked it, so count me in that club.
  11. It's $50-55 for adults and about $30 for kids, but we really did have a good time. And did I mention beer? Ha, ha! The funny thing is that it was actually our 9th wedding anniversary. Romantic right? We did get a slow dance....
  12. Since it's at the Fort and we just went, I'm going to review Mickey's Backyard BBQ. It's also going to be my first post with pictures. IHere we go.... Mickey's Backyard BBQ is at the Settlement at the Fort. It's an open air pavilion, so I’ve heard it gets hot during the summer, but we were comfortable at the beginning of April. For us, the show started at 6:30. We heard we should arrive early, so we got there at 5:45 and were early arrivers. That said, we got there just as Goofy, Chip, and Dale stopped taking pictures, so if you want to pose before the show, get there earlier. While waiting, t
  13. Your kids will really enjoy the cart. Plus, it makes getting around with kids so much easier. I would definitly do the take out chicken at Trails End. It's a great deal, and I bet you'll have leftovers. We did, and my hubby eats like a pig. You already got so many suggestions, but I'm going to second the marshmallow roast, pool activities, fireworks on the beach, and boat ride.
  14. Test... I'll test posting pictures of our breakfast here. It was DD's 16 bithday celebration, and my DS thought all the princesses would be his girlfriend. Test.... special dessert for DD.
  15. By the way, we ate there for breakfast last week, and it was great!
  16. Strollers- You can't take them in the ride lines but can in most character lines. We rode the boat to the MK because a stroller on there is easy, and drove everywhere else because you park free when you are staying at a Disney resort. The busses sit low though, so I think a stroller would be pretty easy. Food- You can take as much food and drink in as you want as long as it's in a soft cooler and non-alcoholic. No straws at AK. We stored ours in the bottom of the stroller. Golf cart- We got one from Kenny, and it was nice because we had some Fort only days, came back for breaks, and were back
  17. I really wanted Jason to make one of these before our trip, but he wouldn't. After seeing them in person, now he wants one! Yay!!!!!
  18. We had trouble on the way down too. Enjoy the rest of your trip. We're heading back now.
  19. I was so excited to see this because they had told me over the phone that there were only activities on Saturday. We're leaving that day, but can still do the morning activities.
  20. Usually, you can click the Info tab at the top of the page, then click the golf cart link, and it's all there. But for some reason, the page is blank now. I'm not sure if we're allowed to post numbers on here, so I'll pm you his info.
  21. We'll be there but leaving that day. I called and talked to a lady who looked at the schedule, and it seems most of the Easter events are on Saturday. It sounded like I was patched through to someone who wasn't actually at the Fort though. I'm bringing some eggs to hide for my son, and we're planning to eat breakfast at Trail's End before we head home.
