  1. I was having trouble posting pics last night, so let's try this again. Here's before.... Then, I sprayed it with a fresh coat of flat black and added the first prisms. I was lucky that there were already holes. I used the adhesive in the link on my original post. Here's the probably finished product. I was going to add a strand going from each bulb to the middle, but I messed up when I ordered, so I'll have to order more. It's also going to be complicated because I don't have holes to attach it to, so I might just leave it like this. I can't wait to bring it tailgating this weekend!!!!
  2. Here's what I started with.....http://i1158.photobucket.com/albums/p614/gadawgfans/5AEABDF2-AED4-498D-BA10-8F39CBBB74C5-6858-00000613164E4224.jpg[/img nix Kind of a rusty brown
  3. Me: Maybe we'll get a park hopper and do HS in the morning, come back for Z's nap, and do an Epcot evening. Hubs: That's too much for one day. What about a MK day, HS day, and one day when we're just hanging at the Fort we do an evening at Epcot? Problem solved, I think. And I still might get the HDDR.
  4. We have an almost 4 year old, so I understand about the sand. We think premium is worth it if your hubby changes his mind.
  5. Jason, half way through the trip, let a 12 year old drive!
  6. Too bad we'll probably miss each other. Call in to work Monday. Easter at the Fort is amazing!!!! But back to your question. I've never stayed at either but have heard good things about both. In my experience, KOAs are a good choice when having to book site unseen.
  7. I heard on the Disney by the Numbers page on facebook that they're going to add 1,000 seats to Fantasmic. They linked a Disney site, but I didn't see an article, so not sure if it's true.
  8. This is my first time booking with an agent. I've seen some discussion on this, so I figured I'd share my experience so far. I was talking to Judy before the hurricane. My deposit was due right about the time that it hit New Orleans. I sent her an email stating that I knew there would be issues and we could just rebook when she was able. She called me today. Anticipating the hurricane and realizing she'd probably be out of power/communication, Judy went ahead and paid my deposit before it was due. I consider that excellent customer service, and she's saving me money on top of it. So far, my ex
  9. Interesting. I've wanted one, but our friends who got one several years ago said it wasn't worth it for the time and amount you get. But we don't have an icemaker in our fridge. We go through A LOT of ice, even with the Coleman Extreme, so it sounds like it might be worth it. I've seen them on woot.com at least once. If you love yours, please post a link to the exact model.
  10. Judy, no we don't usually do park hopper, but I'm considering it for this reason. Maybe do DHS in the morning and Epcot at night. I love the front of Epcot too, but the hubs said only 2 full park days, so I'm trying to find a compromise.
  11. I second what Monique said. We're actually bike riders, so we really debated this last time, but we also have a 3 year old, so that factored in too. In order to give you my full opinion, I'd want to know the ages in your group, the time you want to spend in the parks, and how much you like biking. We decided to get a cart, loved it, and are getting one again for our Easter trip. If we hadn't had a kid who couldn't ride his own bike, we would have ALMOST been as happy riding bikes. But don't estimate the fun of throwing a cooler and snack on the cart and going to meet Fiends. :)
  12. I was thinking it was a little less than half of Disney, but we did 8 or 9 days. But I agree with checking with FF sponsors first!
  13. On our next trip, I've agreed to only 2 park days, but secretly, it's killing me to not go to Epcot. I love it, but the kids love Hollywood Studios more. We've been debating the Hoop de Doo Review because I haven't been since I was a kid and no one else in the family has been, but then I was looking at prices and realize we could do an evening World Showcase trip to Epcot for the same amount of money, cheaper if DD16 decides to come because she'd stay with DS3 while we did the World Showcase. So what would you do? Hoop de Doo Review with 2 adults, (maybe a teen), and a 3 year old or World Show
  14. The answer to the question is that I'd take the boat to the Contemporary and walk to the MK. As far as the rest of this... I have no idea what in the hell you people are talking about. But I like Waffle House.
  15. Welcome! I think you'll be there the week before us. We'll be there March 30-April 7. I am also booking with Judy to save money. I didn't know about that last time. We stayed in the 1400 loop and really liked it. I did see pets on our loop, even though it's not a pet loop. We loved the cart we rented from Kenny. One suggestion, spend some time at the Fort and enjoy all there is to do. We spent 5 days in the parks and 2 at the Fort last time. This time we're doing 2 in the parks and 5 at the Fort. There are really cool Easter activities if you will be there that day. We left on Easter last year
  16. It seems when I get there, I forget about all the awesome snacks and other food items people talk about, so post them here and where they are found. If you have a picture, even better. I'm dreaming of that Nutella waffle at Sleepy Hollow right now....
  17. YUM. I must have one of those on our next trip. I might even share. Maybe.
  18. We were in 1414 (a premium) in April and had friends visit one day. At that point, we had a 35 ft. motorhome, a minivan, and a golf cart without a problem.
