  1. I just looked it up and that's the year I worked at the Grand. It was their 10th anniversary. We may have met because I did work mostly nights and if I was on duty, I would have called for the cab. It had to have been real late because, then as now, buses operated until 2am. A cab was the way to go because there are no resort to resort buses anyway. It would have taken 90 minutes to get back to your resort using the buses. You just spent a ton of money for a meal, you're all dressed up, spring for a cab. So Eric, when you're here next time and you take your wife to V&A, drive or tak
  2. All they had to do was ask me and I would given them that review years ago. Before I was a Concierge at the Grand, I was a Bell Cap there. Just about everyone that went to V&As came to me to either get their car, call them a cab, or ask for info on how to get back to their resort. I knew right away that they had been to V&A because the lady had a red rose and the gentleman was wearing a jacket and tie. I made a point of asking everyone of them what they thought and every single couple said the same thing, it was great.
  3. No you won't because by then you'll be vacationing on the French Riviera with all the money you've made from being the Fiends TA.
  4. I'm calling BS on the rumor about why no TOT run and especially Ed's logic because I can, and if it turns out to be true, none of you knuckleheads will remember what I said a year from now. (edited to add "about why no TOT run")
  5. They don't call me the Harry Houdini of locking plugs for nothing.
  6. Questions, DHS is a big place, why would construction in one section of the park preclude the run. It would seem that there is still plenty of park left to run through. And if it's that massive a project where there is no place left to run, how are they able to have it the following year?
  7. Hold on, is Carmen saying that Disney doesn't enforce it's own rules? That never happens. Even on the page for pony rides on the WDW website, the little girl shown on the pony is not wearing a helmet. Below is from the internal website, "The HUB".
  8. uhh, I plead the 5th. I would never damage anyone's inflatables. I just unplug them, mission accomplished, ezy pzy.
  9. You're right. Air blown, guess I have to be on the lookout for stealth ways of saying inflatable.
  10. There's always a lot of used furniture for sale at Property Control, but in most cases it's not known where it's from, just that it's from somewhere on property.
  11. I'd like to know too. Looking at some of the stuff they have, I suspect they get some sort of preferential treatment or heads up from Disney. Property Control has some good stuff now and then, but I've seen better stuff on TPC. I would think that it's easier for Disney to just call TPC and say," here's some Disney crap, how much will you pay for it"?. Good enough, haul it away. Rather than lug it over to Property Control and then conduct an auction every week.
  12. Oh, it's not the stuff, it's the prices that some of it goes for.
  13. Would you really want to deal with those on Fort roads?
  14. That's a fake. Melvin's butt is sticking out my living room wall. And for those of you that have more money than brains. http://stores.ebay.com/ThemeParkConnection
  15. I need to find a "US Immigration" uniform and crash that party.
  16. 1-3 weeks, that's quite an estimate. So will the new Norway ride take 1-3 years to complete?
  17. I don't think this was on the list. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/07/another-disneys-fort-wilderness-resort-campground-memory/
