  1. I can't believe your skepticism. Glad I'm not like that. Actually they were probably all CMs that were off for the night. For $5, that's ok. I got one for a relative of a Fiend, probably should have gotten more.
  2. We all know how generous Disney is about giving out stuff that costs $25 for free. Happens all the time.
  3. Was that video shot during a regular night, or was it staged? Not that Disney would do such a thing.
  4. Is it possible that it's a stupid idea and most normal guests see it as such?
  5. Excluding my first post which contains nothing but positive comments, I can't believe all the negativity regarding this first class level of Disney entertainment.
  6. Doing this is not something new, so I don't see why all of a sudden more people would do it. Make the party size two if you can't get a rez for one then change it if you can, or accept the fact that it'll cost you $20 to watch fireworks off in the distance. Still cheap in order to avoid multiple bus rides. Think of it as Fort style valet parking. Mind you, I would never do this as I don't think it's worth it, but someone might. The point is that don't assume that you'll be allowed in and to have a sure fire backup plan if it's something you really want to do.
  7. Excellent point and reminder that If you do use this method and plan to be a no-show, make the rez for a party of one.
  8. Finally, it took you long enough to come to that conclusion.
  9. It took a couple of years, but I finally found something I like about you. FPs, I don't need no stinkin FPs.
  10. As someone who has never, never broken any of the Fort's rules, I'm glad to hear that they're cracking down on youz guys, the offenders of perfectly acceptable rules made by the best and the brightest that the Fort has to offer. Those fine, upstanding, and well trained Fort Rangers, have a duty to perform and by golly, they do it well and are always very fair about it. You rule breakers deserve everything you're getting and more. Follow my example and never ever break the rules.
  11. No mulligan for Dave, this time. I would still take that approach. I am aware of the $10 charge on the credit card if you don't cancel, but I would either actually go to TE. Hey, why not? Or pay the $10. It's a small price to pay for the convenience and if it's something you really want to do, which BTW, I wouldn't. If you can make a rez at TE for that night, it beats having to take several buses from other locations in order to get into the Fort. Not to mention the time wasted and the over crowded buses trying to get out of the parks to the resorts, even if you were able to do it. It's a
  12. You could, but I wouldn't, especially on that night.
  13. Yes you could, but you'd have to take the boat out of the water, drag it to the Fort and put it back in Bay Lake.
  14. Bingo, no one picked up on that fact. The knuckleheads, and you know who you are. that told you to lie are just that, knuckleheads. That lying method works when they don't care if you want to get in or not. You could tell them that you're there to freeload and they'll let you in. The restricted access signs will be up at all the MK resorts. You might be able to get in, but it will take some creativity. So if you have to be creative anyway, I wouldn't waste it on the Fort's beach. There are closer places to view the fireworks.
  15. Timing is everything. But it's unrealistic to expect to do that on Christmas week. That week is a very bad week for a non planner to visit if they expect to do the prime attractions without long waits. Planners will do fine during peak times with the new system, non planners, not as well. Never say never. A main gripe is that you're compelled to get FPs ahead of time. If the complaints become overwhelming, they could easily do away with that feature and install more FP locations which would mimic the old system. Everyone gets FPs at the parks. That's easier said than done.
  16. There is luggage transfer from a WDW resort to a WDW resort. I actually did it a few times when I worked in Bell Services at the WL.
  17. I was worried that it wouldn't come across. Fair warning though, don't watch the lumberjack show and the guys in tights waving flags in the same day. There's only so much hi quality entertainment that the human brain can absorb. Pace yourselves, less is more.
  18. Italian guys, I wonder if they're really Italian, wearing tights waving flags. How could I joke about something like that?
  19. And if you thought the Canadian Lumberjack show being performed by Americans is as good as it gets, wait until you see this act. I saw them when they were in the soft opening phase, and wow, simply wow. Today's performances are at 11:20AM, 12:10PM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:20PM, and 5:00PM.
  20. I don't see where talent is required for that project. Stick the stencil in the jar, trace it with a marker, slop the paint around the inside of the jar, done.
  21. I sure hope not. How much more A&E do we have to endure?
