  1. Maybe future projects will be on canvas?
  2. Looks great Cindy. You better not move though?
  3. I've bought many of the bus play sets, I give the buses to Fiend kids. And yes, of course I play with them on my kitchen table.
  4. I doubt she'll have to ask for either. It's a stupid policy.
  5. I'm assuming you got yours too? Considering where you are, you should have gotten yours before me.
  6. The Christmas season in this household actually begins on Oct 22th because that's when the "Family Holiday Celebration" envelope arrived in the mail. What is that you ask? It's the Christmas present that WDW CMs receive every year. It's actually a pretty good present if you're a WDW or Disney fan. The best part are the three dining coupons. Although we get discounts at select restaurants year round, the coupons give CMs more locations. Among many other things are 40% merchandise discounts. In my case it's not that big a deal because I get almost the same discount year round due to my length of
  7. Don't need no stinkin pirate named Kenny, that's a sissy pirate name anyway, to tell me that the 7th is sold out.
  8. The TA, MDE, and the HUB don't always agree. It was asked on Voldy not that long ago and Rusty Scupper said it had changed. As he works in the Front Office, he should know. I looked it up then and there it was. Hey, Miss Missy, didn't you read what I said, just do it. Don't make me deflate your inflatables.
  9. Ahh, the age old question of where does a site actual end? Is it just the area that is paved or has coquina on it, or does it include any of the surrounding ground? What I would do is put the tent wherever you want it and let the wannabe Barney Fife tell you to move it because as you've read and seen visual proof, people put tents anywhere and everywhere they want without any repercussions. However, if you're curious and want to know what the policy actually is, which is yet another policy that is probably selectively enforced, is that you can have an RV but no tent. Its from the Fort's in
  10. The most there has been is four. There are a lot of those that wish, but not that many that do. As djsamuel said, as long as you don't go overboard, it's not a problem if you have more than number on the Main gate pass.
  11. If you go behind the MK and drive by the building where the decorations are produced, you'll see flatbed after flatbed loaded with the largest of the Christmas trees and other large Christmas decorations. It's very impressive. Reminds me of an army preparing for war.
  12. I didn't even think of that as it applies to the dining discount, but you're right. I was more addressing Gretchen's comment about there being more CM Fiends and that I didn't know who they were. It's now just Dave Devores and myself.
  13. I was taking the term "Fiend CM" literally, but absolutely, a CM discount is a CM discount. There is a least one more spouse of a CM on here too.
  14. If you do make a rez, just make sure you're done before Illuminations. I was working just outside Chefs de France the other night and when the staff heard the first explosion, they all surrendered and went home.
  15. I keep saying that I have to try Shula's, but then it dawns on me that I won't get 50% off and for some reason the desire fades away Is that a Shula's review? I was less than 10 years old, but I can certainly remember the cars, the houses, the clothes, and the music.
  16. I'll have Gail start on the paper work. Any Fiend CM, you've only got two choices.
  17. It's not that I didn't enjoy it, but after having experienced the atmosphere once, in order for me to go back to any restaurant at WDW, the food and the service have to be memorable and neither one was. Not that it was bad, but it wasn't great. I no longer need the Disney atmosphere, I get quite enough. I now want the food to be the main attraction. Two of my favorite places to eat at WDW either have a hokie or generic atmosphere. They're nothing to write home about, but the food is good.
  18. BOG is one of those places you'll want to try once, that's enough.
