  1. Now Lou, all info is good. FF info is just the benchmark all others want to emulate.
  2. Now I’m a little concerned. We are arriving for 1 week in October with a 5 x 8 utility trailer. We are between 2 shows, both in Orlando so we are taking the week between at FW. We are a vendor at dog shows and all our merchandise is in that trailer. We were planning to leave it in the overflow lot. I could put it on our site, but I really don’t want to take up that much room. We have a padlock on the back door and a hitch lock on the front. Do you think I need to take more precautions?
  3. Thanks, TCD. Coming from the King of trip reports that's a great compliment. Hope to actually meet you all some day. I'm in Dunedin often so we have probably passed there also.
  4. One of my favorites also. I use it as my background on my work computer.
  5. Thanks, everyone. I'll have to do more trip reports cause you are all so nice.
  6. Hey Ed, nice seeing you. Great picture. It is such a quintessential part of Disney. Who is the sweet little princess with you?
  7. It's on a corner. They have glass in the side street window and sell all kinds of glass and crystal items. Fun to watch.
  8. Lou, I haven't laughed this hard in ages. Thank you. For this thread and transporting idiots and not running them over as they cross in front of the bus.
  9. Thanks. I don't do these very often so I never know if I'm hitting the mark or not.
  10. Part II of our Quickie Weekend Get-Away. We arrived at MK about 8:30 Saturday night. Neither DH nor I noticed anything unusual going into the park. I’m usually so focused on getting my MK fix I’m oblivious outside of the entrance. Anyway, parade time was close at hand and since the last two times we were here we did the late parade from the train station balcony I wasn’t that interested in fighting the crowds for the only parade of the night so we headed off towards Adventure Land and a Dole Whip. I now have DH, Rick, requesting them. Earlier in the day he mentioned that he wanted one
  11. Judy, the setting on his camera is bracketing. It takes all three in rapid sequence, +, regular and - with the click of the shutter. I don't know much else about it. He is the picture taker and I'm the camera bag holder. I'm the woman behind the man, literally.
  12. Different pictures lend themselves to different looks. Rick just has fun playing with them. When shooting pictures of dogs at sporting events there is only so much you need to do, maybe sharpen or work on some shadows, but that's about it. This is the other side for him. Something he can get creative with. There are so many things you can do with photos and he is just starting out on the creative side himself. Pictures have come a long way from the film days.
  13. HDR is not everyone's cup of tea. They do look more like paintings than pictures, but some things just lend themselves to a little fun play. I'll finish my report out later today with a mix of pictures. Have a couple nice HDRs and some regular. Stay tuned.
  14. The Tree of Life and several others were done in HDR (high dynamic range) while shooting in a RAW format. It is super high quality. 3 shots of the same picture are combined and you can then get the best color saturation. The sky looked a lot like that, but you can intensify colors.
  15. Check in tomorrow. More report and more pictures to come. I'm still working on putting pictures together.
  16. Quickie Weekend Get Away – Part I What did you think I meant? Here is a short trip report OVER-LOADED with pictures to keep everyone happy. I know we love nothing more than a good trip report and great pictures. So at least you will get great pictures (I didn’t take them so I can say that). So here it goes…. Part I We decided to make use of our last weekend available on last year’s APs before they expired on 8/24 by doing another weekend get-away at FW. Everyone works hard and life right now is stressful. We probably take more weekend trips to FW than we should, but it makes us happy and
  17. I find it so funny that we almost meet all the time. We did AK on Saturday also. Got caught in storm and did MK St night. Our next trip's in October. We did get APs again so we can keep trying.
  18. We were at FW for the weekend. I've never been to POR. Looks nice. I'll post trip report and pictures later. Looks like you had a fun time. We did AK because it looked like HS was a madhouse. AK was bad enough.
  19. We have switched from Premium 500 to Full and love 1700. Nice spacing. We were in 1715 this weekend.
  20. They never fail to amaze me as to how many people they can move.
  21. Went over to MK last nigh, and although we didn't notice it when we arrived by our FW boat, we certainly saw the effects when leaving at the 11 o'clock close. During a late afternoon storm apparently lightening struck a junction box for the monorail system. Heard this from our boat captain. The crowds were amazing. All the boats were in service trying to get people to and from. Lines to the ferry's were up to the bag check-in stations. We got around the crowds to get to the resort launches. Still had to wait over 30 minutes. They were using the little launches and the bigger ones were t
