  1. Funny thing happened with one of those black hoses on our last trip, I was setting up our Halloween decorations in the dark and drove a couple spikes. for our mickey lamp posts into the ground, one sounded funny, but I didn't see anything. The next day when the CM turned on the sprinklers in our section, we had a really nice water fountain right outside our door.... ooops LOL Being the ever prepared boy scout leader that I am, I turned the water off, pulled the buried line up, luckily I spiked it about 4 feet from the end cap, I snipped it off, pulled the end cap off, and put it on the shorte
  2. I used to be into nascar, but haven't watched a race in a couple years, who won??

  7. Now that I am smaller than I used to be, I want any clothing that would actually fit me!!! I would always buy stuff for Matt and Erica, and feel so sad I could never have anything for myself to wear. I love the rug and matching blanket we got last time, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy every time I see it, I am gonna miss seeing them this summer.
  8. Dang, you are a genius with the camera, great DOF, and composition!!!
  9. I wish I could help you, but I just took the lazy way out and rented an ECV at the parks the last couple trips. My dad was worried that I would try to walk the parks, so his gift to us for our trip was to rent the ecv. Good luck, and enjoy your trip.

  12. Andrew, as I was reading along, I was thinking to myself, man, I have a nice big prybar, I would be snagging me a couple of those spikes!!! Then I see you got them all LOL. WAY COOL, I love it! I may bring a machete and my prybar and see if you missed any next time I am there. You asked about my health stuff. Well if you got a minute, here we go. I had weight loss surgery last April, so I could then have my open heart surgery to repair my bad aortic valve and 6 cm thoracic aortic aneurysm. With the weight loss surgery, and had a pretty rough time with it, I ended up getting out then going
  13. Mmmm love me some Yorkshire Puddings... you lucky dog, and yours looked like doom buggies, what a combo!

  15. Andrew, so happy to see you, and as usual, enjoying your trip report!!! Oh yeah, I changed my user name, I am the camper formerly known as RvUsa, and EjmBibb before that LOL
  16. Interesting first post..... Not much to do with camping but hope you stick around and join the fun of our Camping forum. :welcome::welcome2:
  17. I was thinking the same thing Deb! I am usually a "leave it alone" guy when it comes to snakes, but a coral near a toddler is NOT a good thing!! Good shootin' Tex. :rofl2:
  18. Old is a State of Mind - I haven't been to that State ... yet. :rofl2: I've lived in that state for quite some time now... :)
  19. Works great, you can turn it up or down, now I am not sure how "low" he goes, but I don't see a problem..
  20. Coleman Road Trip baby!!!!! Love it!!! We use the griddle part for pancakes and bacon/sausage so we don't smell up the camper. We use the open grates for steaks, dogs, burgers etc, usually the little bottle will last the whole trip, and it has the tray you fill with water underneath that catches most of the drippings etc. We clean it best we can at the campsite, stick it in the back storage compartment, and pressure wash it when we get home, it is nice and clean then!! IF you like shiny, then get the Paul Jr. designed one that he added aluminum diamond plate too etc, it is nice and shiny!
  21. What's in our TT? TOOOOO DAMN MUCH!!!! It is crazy how much crap we take with us, some times we actually have to go out to the camper to get things we don't even have in the house!!!
  22. According to what I heard today on the radio, and what I just looked up online, Johnny is going to be Tonto, and they haven't found the Lone Ranger yet.... I remember the story because they were complaining that he wasn't native american, so he shouldn't get the role....
