  1. I'm thinking they gave the guy that thought up Duffy one more chance and he came up with Limited Time Magic. He's now in charge of sucking monkey butt over at AK between stints shoveling elephant dung.
  2. These rates with a cheaper site might be a little more than a value, but hey, you are staying at the fort! http://www.traveltrailerrent.com/Rates.html
  3. I'm not affiliated, but I found this on the sponsor's list, it has a toilet. There are also TTs on this one. http://www.floridacamperrental.com/fort-wilderness-pop-up-camper-rentals
  4. Looking at the camper rental choices from our sponsors here, one of them had a toilet and looked pretty nice. I'd look into that for them. Then rent a golf cart from Kenny at half the cost.
  5. Wish I would have thought of this. I can get pictures to facebook in real time. Taking pictures with a camera and downloading them to a computer, then uploading them to a picture site, then writing a report and trying to insert pictures, then posting it all up here? Well that is beyond my expertise. And if it wasn't, it's beyond my ability to not procrastinate it away.
  6. That sounds right. Too bad it's closed. So is there any place else this crap ends up?
  7. That site is pretty cheesy. My uneducated guess: the site stays the same, the only merchandise that gets listed separately is anything that shows up on ebay or in a local magazine article. I've known about this place and always wanted to go there, but each year I forget. Maybe next year. And wasn't there another place a bit of a drive from FW where they sold off old DW stuff? What am I thinking of?
  8. I always liked looking at the old tools and props in the queue there. The new ride SMB.
  9. Kiddyup and Go fried chicken take out meal is the best deal at Disney. And very tasty.
  10. The best, cheapest place we've stayed in the Black Hills is the Hart Ranch. http://www.hartranchresort.com/form/2.html?random=0 To get the good deal you have to sit through one of their pitches to buy in and be an owner. And I have to tell you it was the most painless one I've ever been to. A nice retired real estate agent explained the rules and how it works, and asked if we had any questions. No high pressure, no pushing at all. We actually had some questions on how things work, otherwise we would have been sprung earlier. And we KNEW we weren't buying anything. And we never felt te
  11. Boy, have I got a LOT of advice for you. I'll start slow. If you go through the UP, Wisconsin, and across MN and the two Dakotas, it's almost all two lane Highway. Your travel time will be impacted until you get most of the way across MN because of all the small towns. Once you get farther out west, two laners aren't such a big deal because you can still make time. When we travel west, I like to stay in the small towns. Once you get to western MN and into the Dakotas and Nebraska, most of the small towns, even the little tiny ones, have free RV parking for overnight stays in city parks.
  12. Couple of suggestions. Don't know where the four trips are, but perhaps if the camper could be stored closer to the destinations? Figure out what the loss would be on the camper when you sell it, add it to the value of your current truck. Does that put you in the price range of the truck you need?
  13. That price is way too high for me. I'll keep an eye out for it at the outlet stores. While we are talking about things that hold beer from Germany Epcot, I bought my wife one of those plastic take home mugs full of beer while we there there last month. Thinking back we realized what a great deal that was. It was only a few bucks more than the regular beer, and ended up being one of the cheaper souveniers we got. I was thinking I should just start a collection of those. Cheap, and useful for holding beer. Anyone know of a site that has pictures of all the ones available and where?
  14. I've always wanted a good metal detector, but am too cheap to spend money one one. Any recommendations for me?
  15. Video of Lou enforcing the "get off my lawn" rule at his house. Sorry for the ad, and ****warning, language******** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NelBNtNm8l0
  16. You two are killing me! (see what I did there?)
  17. ¿No es increíble que mantener la piscina en Big Blue AoA desbloqueado FUEGO! I fixed it for you John.
  18. I find it frustrating too. It's not like a hotel where the rooms are virtually the same. When I show up at any campground I want to SEE the sites they are trying to rent to me. If I have a crappy site, I don't want to pay top dollar for it. Three weeks ago when we were there NONE of the sites on our "want list" were available. They gave me one that could have been okay. Went to the loop and it sucked. Wouldn't work for us with the tent and such. So I got on the phone to the front desk (thanks FF for putting up the phone list!), and walked around the loop asking about the empty one
  19. Something that made our trip last month more enjoyable for my mom (68 years young) was the electric chair I brought with. She wouldn't have been able to walk all that way and enjoy the parks. While I've got the bus drivers all hating us, it really did make a big difference. Otherwise she'd be paying a lot of money to sit in one spot and read a book at disney while we run around. I bought one exactly like this on craigslist for 300 bucks after I was in a motorcycle accident. http://www.1800wheelchair.com/asp/view-product.asp?product_id=1246 It's so much fun to drive the kids won't let m
  20. We bring one bottle for each participant in a backpack. Then refill the bottle whenever we get a chance. We write the person's initial on the top of the bottle cap to keep from getting cooties. We bring in the really small water bottles, 12 oz I think, and refill them often.
  21. Second day in a row the kids are home from school. At least the wind stopped blowing so hard that I can see the barn again. I'm going to require more pictures from the Fort please. You can start with the Tiki Bar.
  22. And they just sent the kids home early because of the blizzard. I'm making myself feel better by reading your posts, pretending I could ride the cart over and get some home brew.
  23. Wish I was there to come by. It's supposed to snow two to four inches in the next few hours, then a blizzard with high winds and well below zero wind chills here. Enjoy it down there!
