Working at WDW, and for a lot more than a year, hasn't thought me anything about how to deal with gays because there was nothing to learn.
I attempt to treat everyone as I want to be treated.
However, I'm for, don't ask, don't tell, and don't flaunt it, no matter your preference.

That's what I thought when I saw it. Maybe they're in the witness protection program...

No doubt about it. Lorna's site was the best Thanksgiving dinner we ever had. Couldn't beat the dining companions either. Hoping to invite myself again next year too! :thumbsup2:

Budget tip - At some of the buffets if you ask for one the last seatings at either Breakfast or Lunch you will pay the price for the meal you're seated for but have the choice of both meal's foods on the buffet line.
For example - say the last Breakfast seating at Crystal Palace is at 10;55 and lunch starts at 11. You pay for Breakfast but may enjoy lunch choices too.

I've been given small gifts, been asked for a hug, it was a little boy so I was ok with it. paid compliments for my driving, done high fives, gotten thank you cards, but today was a first.
This really happy and friendly small group got on my bus this morning at CBR when all of a sudden one of them yelled out, lets sing "hail to the bus driver". Which they did. They had a song all prepared hailing, yes, me. It was too funny and I really got a kick out of it. I told them they should have waited until I got them to their destination in one piece.

That's it exactly! Being that I've been parenting for the last 34 yrs straight, I've been around to notice how self-centered parents have become these days. Usually, I just shrug it off with an "I outgrew that old stained tshirt years ago" kind of laugh. It's not new, there were always parents who thought their kids' pooh didn't stink but those used to be the one parent or two you avoided on the playground. Now they're the ones seemingly running the show and definitely in the majority. It's obvious too that the mentality is indeed carrying over to their children.
I feel for Mrs TCD, what used to be a fun job can't be nearly as enjoyable if you have too many of these types in the parent-body...

Could we add a choice like "noticed missing fiends & went off searching" or something like that perhaps?

I just decided that I don't care who eats my candy or where they came from to get it... We were sitting in the dr's office with DH today and realized that it makes absolutely no difference to us today b/c we'll be pulling out of our driveway in exactly TWO WEEKS!!! :partythree: Woohooo!!! :partythree:

Julie, I disagree with your comment about dealing with a company rather than a person. I have a camper rental business and I go to way farther lengths than a big box company to satisfy my customers.
I realize your co. has and will take a hit by Steve doing this. I know a lot more about this situation from some things I'm hearing at the fort. I just hope all this rental stuff doesn't cause a problem with personal carts being brought into the campground.

Starla & I decided there weren't nearly enough local fiends to share in the fun closer to home so we've been leaving cards wherever we see an rv. We're hoping you'll join us online and perhaps maybe even one day at a campground or Fort Wilderness for a grand gathering full of fun & friends.
I've left cards in some crazy places but today I hit a new personal high in fiending after spotting an rv sitting backlogged in traffic headed towards Gettysburg. As we neared the truck towing a 5er on the other side of the road I noticed the driver had his window open.
There was nobody behind me... I swear I just couldn't help it... temptation got the best of me and, grabbing a card from the console of my van, I stopped, said "Hi", and handed it out the window to the driver. I'm not sure who was more surprised, the driver or Starla, who was :dropjaw: sitting next to me in the passenger seat trying not to be noticed :rofl2:
Anyway, if you're in MD, PA, or anywhere else fiends wander :mh1: and find a card left for you, please don't be offended.
