We sat down at 730. We were a little disgruntled because we wanted to go to the sing a long at 8. The manager apologized and gave us 40% off. Our waiter was awesome, and of course the food was great. So after we got over being starved we were fine. Missing the sing a long just gave us more time to loop. So we still had a great night

We made it. Even got the site we requested on the 800 loop

A couple years ago TCD I saw you post a picture of a dishwasher with a tube running through the empty area behind the campers. It was in the 2000 loop. I think it was thanksgiving weekend. This week in our looping I found it again, if it's the same guy. They are now in the 1500 loop. So of course I had to stop and ask him what was up. He let me take a picture of the front of the site then took me for a tour. It was quite the set up. They have 3 refrigerators, 1 deep freeze freezer, and 1 kegerator. They also have two commercial griddles, and red commercial ovens. Yeah also have a warming station like a real restaraunt. They also have 4 coffee machines. Every morning they breakfast and dinner. They have a chalk board with a menu written of what's for the meals. They also have a hot water heater and huge washroom sink. They have a panel attached to the hot water heater and dishwasher cabinet. They also have a blow up movie screen. They do a movie every night and will be playing the fsu gator game on Saturday. They told us to feel free to come by for the game or any movies.
It is two brothers that over the years it started wi just the two brothers and family. It has now grown to 16 different campsites filled with people and then the 1 for he kitchen. They had more than 65 people for thanksgiving dinner yesterday. The last two years since they have hit this massive number Disney has put them on the 1500 loop. They say it's like they have there own private loop now, I guess there are only 21 sites on that loop and they have 17 of them. I didn't verify that, but the brothers told me that. They now invite whoever is camping on the loop not with there group to dinner and to partake in their activities. They set up a pay pal, and all the friends and family traveling with them pay a certain amount and the two brothers buy all the stuff. These brothers know how to do thanksgiving right. It started because one brother lives in boca and the other one moved to Jacksonville so this is how they decided to spend he holidays together. They' get here the week before thanksgiving and set up and spend brother time, and then stay till Tuesday. They start breaking down on Sunday. Everyone was super friendly and awesome to be around.
I told them they had won your real man of genius award. I couldn't believe they had never heard of TCD. Where have they been, living under a rock. So I told them about fortfiends and told them to watch out for that other board, lol. They were going to look this up when they got home. Hopefully we have some more fiends coming.

You all are awesome. We were excited when we won and we're trying to share it on here. I am far from computer savvy, so Facebook makes it easy for post and go. I saw that I could post in the comments so I did. I totally agree. Facebook is so overloaded with drama.
I do have to give a shout out to TCD. My family has been camping here since it opened, but in multiple generations. So a lot of stuff you just walk by and don't notice, or pay attention to when it is gone. His trio reports helped us find quite a few things on these scavenger hunts. Even the cast members had a picture of something they didn't realize what it was originally. It was a cod hole toss. Then when you got a bag in the hole they gave you a sheet with pictures around the fort. You then took selfies in front of the same pictures. When you showed them your pictures they took the first two teams. Then you did a small obstacle course. Dizzy bat, three leg race and ring toss. Then you won. It was pretty neat to see this format. Last year they had us running to different resorts

You guys rock. Thank you very much. We hear it's a tight competition right now so every vote counts. He already had make a wish, so when we asked him about this wish he said he wanted to help other kids. One was a kid he met in Baltimore in the hospital that he became good friends with. We went to a few Orioles games with him and the two sat in church every Sunday together. That kid just had a kidney transplant this week to survive. He wanted to bad to go see him.
The other child he wants to help has a similar condition to one of his and lives in South Carolina. The family barely had enough money to travel to Baltimore for the first procedure and he wants to pay for the second trip up in a few months. Then we came up with the idea of take half of the money and split it between them. All the money we have left over after our next trip we will use to set up a foundation to help kids get to specialty hospitals. We couldn't believe his wish was to help other kids.
After his first procedure he thought he would be wheel chair free. The doctor told him after 6 months he hope he could throw his wheelchair away. My son just looked at the doctor and told him he wasn't throwing it away, but giving it to another kid that needed it. It's hard for us to believe that a kid that just turned 11 Halloween week thinks is way, but he has been going throw this since he was 4. So I guess his heart is huge from all he has been through. My sons initial wish was to have the Walt Disney suite, but that was not an option. He loved the fact it had a refrigerator with unlimited Mickey bars, so he will love that he can get them for free.
About the movies. Do they have the channel with all he old Disney cartoons. That was my sons favorite part of the fort was watching and waiting for steamboat willie. He already asked if they had that on the cruise. He will also need to give his back and legs a rest and has to sit in braces for an hour every day, so that is a good thing.
He already went and picked out a pirate costume for the pirate party. We were going to let him do the pirate make up garb at the place on the ship, but there last appointment is 1245 everyday. We thought it would be horrible to have him miss a day of pool and evening for the make up. His main goal is to ride the aqua duck as much as his body can take.
Thanks for he tips on the starboard side viewing. I was wondering where the best place to see it was.
As for the wand. It appears I will be pointing it at the konch cooler.

Stayed there last year. It wasn't bad at all. We got in around 9, and left the next morning around 9. Thing was there was a dirt bike track or something. Right behind the bathrooms. So come Saturday morning we were woke up by the sound of dirt bikes or something. We were surprised at how early they started

Thanks brutha. We will be back up in December. This time we stayed for most of the 6 months in otterbein and the last two weeks in federal hill by cross street. It would've been nice to have some coffee with some brothers.

For those of you that have been follow Along here are two stories done about our son. If you click on the picture in both articles it is actually the video of the news cast. For some reason a lot of people have thought it was only an article. He has been broadcast over 26 times in different cities and national news like newsie. He was actually science dailys medical discovery of the week a couple weeks ago. Thank you all for giving advice and following along. We still have a long road and a lifetime of treating his conditions, but we are definitely on the right path.

We got dates and booked them. So we will be there. This is the only holiday I haven't been to at the fort. Can't wait.

I was up buying some ice at meadows yesterday and asked about the cups. She actually volunteered the information that the plan is to chip the cups so they can only be used at the resort purchased and only for your stay, she did not know when this would happened. She just stated it has not happened yet. I do not know how accurately the cashier was but that is what she said
