  1. Good post.

That family had no business fussing at Lonestar, but I understand their frustration.  He said they were using the App.  They didn't know where the Food Truck was, so they were probably relying on the App for instructions- which are really bad.  They were probably hungry.  And, they were almost there, only to find out that the Food Truck closed early.  I wouldn't be a Happy Camper under those circumstances either.

I'm taking your feedback TCD to the team to get corrected.

  2. That part jumped out at me, but I figured it was just option #1.  Lash out at anyone that ruins your "Magical Experience".

Within minutes they were probably on their phones calling customer service complaining that little Suzy and Bobby's vacations were ruined, and then onto 20 different Blog pages posting pictures of said upset kids #disneyruinedourmagic!!!

Probably demanding the house of mouse as well.

  3. I can't find the post in my Instagram feed again to share but someone had a map of seating for Rivers of Light showing where FP/dining package etc seating is. It also said to keep in mind the stone retains heat very well. So what is it going to be like sitting on these benches in August? Rivers of swap butt?

I was just there last night and finally got to see it. Dining packages are just below the VIP sign on Dinosaur side. The fast passes are on the Everest side.

  4. I have serious doubts that the Disney kimmelwick roll will be even close to what it should be.  You know these are probably made in bulk somewhere in a Disney bakery, and I highly doubt that they're made fresh daily.  I'm still willing to give it a try, though.

The way you're explaining it, I can tell you it isn't that hard crust you're looking for.

  5. Imho. It looks like who ever reviewed this only tried one thing. Not all of them. A hamburger at most when there is beef brisket and pork. I take this with a grain of salt to be honest.

As for the state's, if would have though where the other locations of the stickers that's what they put down it represented. Not for it to be that's where it was truly located.

  6. All those WL themed stickers make me wonder if the Fort will be losing that truck to the WL DVC once construction is completed over there.  I assume they'll have an outdoor movie spot, where a truck like that would be perfect.

No this will be strictly for FW. WL will have plenty of places for food.

  7. I remember the times when they had a gondola ride in the MK.  It was frequently shut down because of high winds.  And, of course, they had problems with idiots throwing stuff down from the gondolas.  I guess the new design fixes both of these issues.

Between people throwing, attempting to jump during grad nights, or weather related it was often stopped and the reason it was taken down.

This is one reason why I think this is a false rumor. However, I'm in the research now to find out.

  8. Thanks for posting that, when I was looking at the drawings they had the entire food building circled and a vague demo note but I wasn't sure to what scale.

My personal opinion CB needs the renovation.  I wonder if they'll move check in for the non DVC side over to the food court building?  That would make a lot of sense to me and separate the DVC portion.

If I remember right, they are going to keep most of the DVC and regular check in around the same area like the other resorts. To keep the flow constant with what is already in place. Just one side of the resort is DVC and the other regular guests.

  9. A lot depends on what you want. If you are going to setup  chairs, have music, etc. you probably will need to stay in your site or pay the mouse. How ever you can do a "hit and run" almost anywhere, just show up, and do it. As you can see by my profile picture weddings are what I do and have done 100s, many time we just show up at a nice spot and get it done. I once did one at a major league baseball game, we just stepped out in the aisle between innings and were done before the game started again. Got a big ovation when the crowd figured out what we were doing.

OR go to the other spot where people watch the fireworks behind the store. No one is normally ever there.
