We would go there on High School field trips. Brings back some really great memories!!!

We had dinner at Trails End in January and the food was great.  We talked to the manager and we were told that they were working on making it a great place to eat again.  When we ate there last year, the food and service were terrible.  Glad things are changing for the better!!!!!

Book it as a Grand Gathering.  That way the sites are close or next to each other.  Y will be given a Grand Gathering number that will be attached to each reservation.  One person will be put in charge.  That is what we did when we booked for our daughters wedding.

We use the metal ones that Target sells in their dollar section.  They work great and you can't beat the price.

We stay in the 1700 loop and always ride our bikes.  The buses are used for when the weather is bad and sometimes very late at night.  We have lights on our bikes.  I am amazed at the people that ride without lights.  This is definitely a necessity.

Where is Pluto located for a character meeting? My granddaughter really wants to see Pluto.

When do the Christmas decorations come down in the parks. We are possibly

arriving on January 4/5 and we were hoping that the decorations were still up.

We have had lots of snow and some ice too. Good thing we aren't planning on arriving until the

beginning of January!!

When are the park times posted for January. We are deciding on arriving on

January 4/5 or January 11/12. We are traveling with our daughter, 2 1/2 year

old granddaughter, and 14 month old grandson. Our son in law is deployed and

won't be able to join us. We usually spend the morning and afternoons at the

fort and hit the parks about 4 and stay until closing. However, that won't work

if the parks close early.

What is the last day that the Osborne lights will be on display? We may have to change our arrival date. I looked at the Disney website and couldn't find any information. I should have come here first!!!!!

Wish we could be there to help with your celebration!!! We will arrive on January 1, maybe earlier if we can get an open date. We have worked with Shades of Green for a wedding, so I would definitely contact them. This is the type of thing that they do.

Welcome!!  You don't need a cart and walking with a double stroller and kids isn't crazy either.  We usually have a stroller because we travel with our grandkids a lot.  We usually walk to the marina or outpost instead of the bus, unless the weather is bad.  Have a great time!!!!!

If you have someone that is military or DOD you could have your wedding at Shades of Green.  I don't know if they do weddings for non military or DOD.  My daughter had her wedding there and it was wonderful.

We have reservations checking in on January 2 and were hoping to get in a few days earlier.  I keep checking, but no luck.  The most frustrating thing is that I know a lot of people check out on January 1.  So, I will just keep calling and calling and calling!!!

I will look into Tropical Palms.  Is it off of 95 or 4?  We are basically looking for a campground to stay for a couple of days before we get to The Fort.  So, something between the Florida border and The Fort.

We are arriving at The Fort on January 2, 2014.  Hopefully something will open up for an earlier arrival, but we need a back up plan.  We will be traveling with my daughter and 2 grandkids while my son in law is deployed.  If The Fort doesn't open up, we were looking at other campgrounds for a few days.  Does anyone know anything (good or bad) about Pecan Park?  I post this in the off site forum and realized that I should have posted it here.

I wish they would offer it for everyone.  It would be so much easier to make monthly payments on our passes.

We travel from Street, MD. That's 976 miles. My DH does all the driving. It's a straight shot once you get on I95. You stay on 95 to 4 and the next exit is The Fort.
