  1. If FDOT can do something to make it easier to get in & out of the 535 & I-4 area, that will be good for all the businesses there. Most of the businesses in that shopping center could relocate further north on 535 and probably get even more business than they have now.
  2. Maybe there's something to that saying about getting wiser as you get older... :)
  3. I rinsed off the roof as good as I could and then let it dry (didn't take long in the 100 degree Texas heat at the time). I then used the acetone to clean the areas where I was going to apply the Eternabond. I didn't rinse it off, I just waited for it to evaporate. I then applied the primer and then the Eternabond. I will be following the same procedure on my trailer, except I will be doing it this fall instead of the 100 degree heat this time. :)
  4. When I used Eternabond on my motorhome many years ago, I used acetone for cleaning and also used the primer. Not sure if it helped, but it definitely didn't hurt. All the Eternabond was still on it when I sold it 4 years ago. I am going to be using Eternabond on my trailer in the near future and I'll use acetone & primer again.
  5. My Ford F150 Raptor has the 6.2L V8, so I can't comment on personal experience with EcoBoost engines in F150's. But, I have friends & family with 3.5 EcoBoost F150's and they couldn't be happier. Also, my daily driver is a 2014 Fusion with a 2.0L EcoBoost and our company has two 2013 Escapes also with 2.0L EcoBoost engines that are used by our outside salesmen, and I have to say that they have been great engines so far. Both Escapes have nearly 100,000 miles and only one has had any problems (it was an emission related part that failed). I also have a 2017 Explorer on order for my wife
  6. She was almost 10 years old. We got an Australian Shepherd about a year before Shelby passed and she was able to teach her some good (and some bad) habits. :)
  7. Sorry to hear that. Our golden retriever, Shelby, passed away back in June from cancer. She was a great dog.
  8. I have used Kenny several times and I have never had anything but a positive experience. He's always gone above & beyond to accommodate my requests. I am having a hard time believing that he would treat anyone like this. Are there any locals or anybody currently using any Tee Time carts that can get Kenny to comment on this situation? I added a picture of the cart I rented from Kenny back in June. It was an awesome cart.
  9. That's what I was thinking. It's got to cost them more to not have premium sites to rent out during peak times than to have empty sites during slow times.
  10. Adding more loops with premium sites could make sense as long as the cost of them sitting empty is less than the money they could make on them when the fort sells out.
  11. Happy Birthday to your girls! I celebrated the 20th anniversary of my 21st birthday back on 5/27. :)
  12. I have the same rule and broke it recently. Long story short, my brother had to buy me a new tailgate. :) I plan on using Kenny again as well, can't wait! Just 29 days to go...
  13. We're traveling from Arlington, Texas this June. I am going to try staying there, thanks for the tip!
  14. Interesting... http://www.doctordisney.com/2015/10/26/first-permits-show-possible-expansion-changes-for-disneys-hollywood-studios/
  15. We rented a house on the beach in the Seagrove Beach area for a week back in June, it was awesome.
  16. A partial hook up is $16.89/ night. Cheaper than parking at the hotel and you get electricity. That may be an option, thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Definitely just parking, Universal has no onsite camping. There is a campground just a few miles from Universal called Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. I've never stayed there, nor do I know much about it.
  18. Awesome, thanks! I emailed them as well and basically said the same thing. Only problem with parking it at Universal is that I won't be able to leave it plugged in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. We are in the middle of planning our biennial 2 week trip to Fort Wilderness for June of 2016. We usually check in at the Fort on a Saturday and then check out 2 weeks later. While we are there, we hit all the Disney parks as well as the Universal parks (we even went to LEGOLAND last time we were there). During the planning for this trip, I was looking at Universal ticket prices and determined that for not much more, we could stay on a Universal property for two or three nights and take advangatge of their early park admission as well as get Express Unlimited ride access for "free". My ide
  20. Good point. I'd pay $100 for up to 3 people, not a $100 per person.
  21. I've never ridden in an Amphicar and will probably never have the chance to, so next time I'm there, I would do it. After spending thousands, what's another $99. :)
  22. We had a Tracvision dome on our motorhome and never had a problem getting a signal on our last 5 trips to the fort. We now have a travel trailer with the Winegard Trav'ler mounted on the roof. At other parks, as long as there's no trees on top or directly in front of the dish, we've never had a problem and don't anticipate any when we check in on Saturday. We'll probably hook up the cable too for that Disney experience. :)
  23. The more I read about this, the more I like it. About the only thing I really don't like is the parking lot. But, as long as traffic doesn't flow thru the fort, I can live with that as well.
  24. If it does get built, I hope it gets it's own unique entrance to their parking lot that is not thru the middle of Fort Wilderness. I would hate to see even more traffic.
  25. My initials are AEA, but you can call me Art. NLP was an acronym for my old business, No Limit Performance. :)
