  1. Oops, wrong magic event. I was thinking of the one for next week. Although I really wish I could be there for the Villians too.
  2. I love Robin Hood!!!! Wish this was going to be in June. :'( Guess I just have to hope the do something even better then!
  3. Sounds like something we could try once this trip. I remember hearing before, somewhere, that the bridge was a good spot. But now I am afraid of what I might see if Tink flew over..... Sounds great! And bonus points for the photo!!!! :partyline: That just awful!!!!
  4. I am gleefully working on sketching out the details of our trip to the Fort in June. I am debating whether to do the dessert party again for the fireworks (we did it on our trip in 2011) or to camp a spot. We are rolling with a 7 year old so sitting on a curb for hours is a whole lot of not fun but we could stand to save the money and calories. I guess what I'm really looking for is some veteran tips on good spots to grab that hopefully wouldn't require a long camp. Thanks in advance! Amy
  5. Count me in!!! Gotta get my fix since we don't hit the Fort until June. TGFTR's! :jumpforjoy
  6. Dang! I was really hoping they might extend it this year to celebrate their purchase of the Star Wars empire. We arrive on the 9th. Good to know though, thanks!
  7. I am having a panic attack now. I grabbed the case with the photo pass CD to post a pic or two and guess what was not in the case! I have no idea where it is but it HAS to be in here somewhere, it just has to.............
  8. Love it! We love House Hunters and this was just too freaking cute! Thanks for sharing. :heartsmiley:
  9. No bragging rights for the bottom of page 9 I'm sure but I shall comment anyway. :) I am soooo enjoying this trip report! Waiting anxiously for the next installment. :suspense:
  10. I love Rudy's trip report! Maybe when we get back from our June trip I can convince Timber to do one. See profile pic, that's the Timber dog. He's pretty spastic, possibly ADD so it will probably be lots of pictures of squirrels. Maybe he should leave the dog TRs to Rudy......
  11. Looking forward to some pics. I must live vicariously through trip reports (and Not trip reports) until June. Staying tuned....
  12. You are correct, no golf cart. Bikes or buses for us this time at least. Probably a no on the dog park as well. The little old man has a bum leg so he tends to be a little defensive and our rescue boy is still pretty timid. Leash walks will be the norm and we have a play pen so they can have some unleashed outside time. Amy
  13. We are getting ready to book our first FW trip for June and we will be bringing the fuzzy children with us. 2 poms, one is our little old man dog and his 2-3 yr old rescue buddy. We are running with a tight budget so we have ruled out the extra expense of a premium site but would be willing to do a preferred. Other than the location is the premium pet loop worth the bump? Our non fuzzy boy is coming too and the 1600-1900 loops look good for being closer to a pool, although I'm not sure which pool it is. Thoughts? Suggestions? Helpful hints? I will also accept positive affirmations and
  14. We were really torn between buying a TT or a pop up but after much debate we decided that a trailer would work better for us. My husband did a lot of research before trading in his Mustang for a vehicle that would have a better tow rating than my Edge. We could have done a pop up with the Edge (I love my Edge btw, trading it was NOT an option) and ended up with Clifford the big red truck (F150 V6 with Ecoboost). Yes, we name our cars. Mine is Ju Ju Bee. Anywho, once we knew what we could tow we trolled craigslist and found a 2006 TT that was a perfect fit for us, and was the same year and
