The photos tonight were awful. I had my phone, and they just weren't up to par. Better ones ahead. :)

So when we left off, we had just turned over Bruin to his new home owner. It was then off to the Boardwalk and Flying Fish for our very first ADR. While waiting, the kids, Heathen1 and Heathen2, found one of the wandering magicians. As luck would have it, they were both chosen to participate. It set our trip off to a great start. Last year Mardi Gras was during President’s Day week. It was crazy stupid busy Team Louisiana does not do crazy very well. So last year was slightly stressful and probably our least enjoyable trip to WDW ever. This one made up for it in spades. A few of the kids go

So here we go! The second version of the O’Neal Mardi Gras. We began the trip on Thursday, the 7th. I was delivering a boxer to a friend’s daughter who happened to be a cast member on property. His name is Bruin and he was a rescue from a mutual friend of a friend in Shreveport, Louisiana. Glad we could start our trip off with a good deed. As Jody said, we were shooting for a 3PM pull out time and as luck would have it, we kept to that time the closest we ever have in the past. Typically our MO is to plan on 4, leave by 9.
