I love my 0 gravity chair too. I would love it so much more if I ever got to use it. (kinda like my iPad....)

That camper looks exactly like my grandparents' old Class C. They didn't have slides back then! I remember everything being so close to the camper! It was so awesome!

This is why we are bringing our popup to the Stone Mountain Grand Gathering instead of our Class A Diesel. 800 bucks in just fuel is beyond reasonable for a 3 day weekend.

You know, I am really with you Dave here. This was one of the reasons I loved going to the posts was to look at what was new as far as Fort merchandise. It is one of the few things that I will wear other than something that says Auburn!

Very good friends of ours that have since gotten out of camping due to this very experience did not appreciate the switch. They had a class A and had some problems with the slides. They bought used and probably had the class a as their first camper. From what I understood, the slide kept coming out while they were driving, making the drive, well, unsafe. :siren: They traded it in on a truck and 5er and did not like it one bit. Donnie even had to back it in every time they went to the Fort. The hitch always seemed to give him trouble and never worked in the rain, which really pissed him

I take Deb's line of thinking. If I can't get in for less than 70, I don't go. We have actually been going to other places with fiends during the year and loving it. The gas prices are starting to hurt with diesel being over four bucks a gallon now. We got a week rate at Crystal river for 99 bucks for the whole week for our spring break. That alone will save us a bundle over the fort and no yellow flies. On the 4th, as Deb has previously stated, the Fort is such a zoo that I just don't go near the pool. Although, I really have not gone near the pool for quite some years without being fully clothed due to my former beached whale status. :camp1: That being said, I agree with Bob that there has to be some kind of system to cull the onslaught of people that come in during the holiday weekends. When I go for the 4th, I plan on bringing these with me. I am making a bunch. They are yellow deer fly traps. I saw several of them last year and kicked myself for not doing the legwork myself. I have read that the blue color does not do the trick with these blood suckers and you need to use the black. If I didn't have a screen room, I would STILL BE SWOLLEN. I went and bought a bigger screen room because of those things! I got bit putting the screen room up!

I know last year was really bad for those nasty yellow flies that love to hang around the horses. They were especially bad in the 1700, 700, 2000, and the cabin loops up near the stables. They were even biting at the 4th of July. If you are at the fort, please post an update over the next couple of months to keep us updated. We specifically won't go during Memorial Day again because of those little blood suckers!

This is not a new rumor and the complaints about this have been piling up since the day they stopped making resort specific merchandise. Knowing Disney as we all do, they will have the Tshirts ready about the time it starts to cool off in October. :rofl2:
