Was just playing with accommodations near the various Disney Parks around the world, and look what I found.... RV rental park near the Parks!!
Looks cool 🙂

There is also a bridge type behind Fantasmic! that can be turned 90 degrees to allow the floats to go around, so they can build that type also.

Once again, they've put the nicest/most colorful shirt in kids sizes only....... sigh

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, Jen confirmed that I was correct.

I saw a crane in that area yesterday. If they build it I wonder how they will accommodate the EWP? Or is Lou going to finally get his wish. Maybe I will take the walkway out that way this evening or next week when I am at GF to see if I can see anything first hand.
Please check and see if the smoking area is still on that walkway on the MK side just past the boat dock. The "official" smoking area seems to be towards the bus stops, was just wondering if they removed the one on the path to nowhere.

Jen will be here in an hour or so, I'll double check with her then.
But in the meantime...
Looking through the campsite thread, perhaps the 2100 Loop, and then retake the full hookup sites with gravel instead of sand is the jist I'm getting from the thread.

Ooops, I spoke too soon, they sound kind of snooty, they have the 10 year rule on rigs (you can get approval for well taken care of rigs), and no tents, and I bet popups are not allowed.
No outside yard art, and only "limited" outside furniture.

This would make a GREAT Memorial Day Fiend Grand Gathering spot though. We need to crank that campout back up!!

So sad, Argent was a sweety 🙂

Yep, that's what I remember, couldn't remember where/how to look 🙂

What I do is order from Wal-Mart grocery online at one of the stores near the Fort, and schedule a pickup time near my projected arrival time, then go to the pickup lanes as I'm pulling into the area, and load the camper up, then on into the Fort.

Oh, by the way, Sam's Club is now offering Annual Passes at a SIGNIFICANT discount.

I can tell you driving from Columbus OH to the Ft is about 1000 miles. At 65mph it gets nerve racking really quick. Going down 75 it isnt bad until you hit Georgia. Once you hit the state line there it seems to take forever and you have already been at it a good 7 to 8 hours. A straight through drive for us with the camper takes about 20 hours at 65mph.
Even with our 690 miles and our tiny trailer, we break up the drive. We leave mid afternoon and get South of Atlanta, then just a few more hours the next morning. I couldn't imagine going 20 hours straight towing.

Agree on all those points! I LOVE the fact my trailer is in my insulated garage. One it's right there where I can play, and two it's protected from the weather, and is in great shape even though it's 12 years old.

Trucks are getting larger and for no reason. Up until 2015 Linda could get in and out of our Silverados with no issue. In 2015 we had to start carrying a folding stool for her to get in and out. Even the new Canyon/Colorado and Ranger are taller and wider, even though poorly designed. I had a first generation Canyon that I could get in and out of easily, looked at a 2018 and couldn't get in without hitting my head. Even the salesman complained about getting in. It's a shame that the Big 3 think everybody want's to drive a semi. I'm more comfortable in our new Traverse than what I was in the 2015 PU.
I am not impressed with the new Ranger at all, although I'm strangely impressed with the Canyon after seeing a couple in person at my last T@B rally. Even though I'm still in the Ford camp and will probably still get an F150 for my next tow vehicle.

I blame people that rent campers. If you don't own it, take care of it, and tow it your self, you don't deserve to get to stay at the Fort. And a minimum requirement should be that you changed at least one blowout on the side of the interstate, the camping right of passage.

Whoah...... NO THANK YOU. Have had my trailer for 12 years now, don't EVER want a blowout. Because I know, it will most likely do so much damage it will total my trailer. I replace my tires every 4 years like clockwork, and check the pressure every single trip, and every time before moving the trailer.
So please, I DO NOT want that particular rite of passage.

I played with it too. One thing I did discover, was my previous selections were gone. So if you have an existing reservation and already picked your colored Magic Bands, you need to go in and choose them again.

We paid less than $1000 each for our TWO COAST annual passes back in 2014. It's amazing how much all of the passes have gone up.

the smaller and fewer systems on a camper, the less the extended warranty makes sense. My little unit, only the A/C, Fridge, and overhead fan would be covered by an extended warranty. The cost of that warranty was more than buying those units as replacements, so we most definitely passed. Plus the warranty was only five years. At 12 years, those items all still work. If any of those units die, we'll just buy replacements.

Yeah, but where's the golf cart parking? I guess they can chop down the rest of those useless trees on the east of Pioneer Hall and we can park there. Since they will undoubtedly give the DVC folks a bus to the MK, they can shut down the Fort marina too. That will cut down on the boat traffic going by those $3000 a night bungalows.

I believe the golf cart parking is in the bottom right of C106
