The front entrance does look like a mess, but I have to admit; when we stopped by Sunday, it was really nice walking in without the Leave a Legacy markers blocking your way.

We had a Leave a Legacy tile, so at least once per trip, we actually dropped by to visit it, but yes, the presentation of those was terrible.

Yup, you get your steps in before you reach the entrance.

There isn't much sense in taking the tram if you are in the parking lots in front of the main entrance. You can walk to the entrance quicker than waiting for the tram to load and go for a minute ride.

Maybe if you are in the ones out past the new Guardians building it would be a worthwhile ride.

We are bus folks, rarely if at all drive to the parks.

  3. I'm really liking the new plans for Epcot EXCEPT my precious dancing fountain is going away.....

    This picture makes me sad....

But, life goes on and Walt Disney himself says the parks will never stay the same, they will always be changing and growing.

I'm also thinking we are going to start our days for our October trip, by boating to the MK, and taking a Beach Club bus to Epcot and enter the international gateway. The front entrance to Epcot is a DISASTER now.

  4. They do keep records, but it's not easy. I had an old non expiring ticket from probably 2005. All I had was a printout from the resort showing the old ticket record. Unfortunately, the TTC was closed when I went by, so went to MK guest services. It took them about 45 minutes and two managers, and they did finally find it and add it to My Disney Experience. I will have to make sure to prioritize the 10 day I'm buying for October when I get there. I also have a few pluses on some old tickets. One of these days I'll get into a water park.

By the way, pluses were NEVER good for Disney Quest. They always had their own ticket. (I tried a few months before they closed)

I'm inclined to think real in some form or another. Seems like a lot of buzz about more stuff coming to Epcot beyond what's already been confirmed. And there supposedly has been a big push from on high to leverage Disney IPs as much as possible, so it makes sense from that perspective.

But of course as you say, they could all be feeding off each other. Too many rumors to count at this point and many of them are coming from a site that doesn't have the best track record for rumors that prove to be true.

    D23 starts today.  Stay tuned...

There was a press event yesterday at D23, I'm inclined to believe it's all true. Of course, until they break ground. Also, supposedly their "BIG" secret is a mini-series documentary to be aired on the new streaming service and a hard cover book. "One Day At Disney" about behind the scenes stuff

"At the first aid stations, nurses are available to offer over-the-counter medications, bandages and other quick remedies for free." This quote from the Tampa Tribune is so not true. We stopped by the First Aid Station at Epcot, found 5 "medical" personnel laughing, joking, and so not interested in helping us. We politely asked for help which required a simple bandaid for a wound, and they told us to "exit the property and drive to the nearest drug store." We were shocked and totally disallusioned by DW first aid support and lack of compassion or concern.  Based on that experience, and past lack of "heat" issue concern at Hollywood Studios temporary bus stops, I'm not expecting any consideration or assistance what so ever to make guests comfortable at Galaxy's Edge. It makes me sad how this attitude has evolved at DW. Sure has changed.

I've been to WDW first aid several times for sinus remedies, headache remedies, bandaids, dehydration, and my hubby with a sugar low. They have always been caring and offered excellent service. I'm sorry to hear you had an issue.

  7. I've stayed at Holiday Travel Park at Exit 1 in North Georgia before. Nice park, easy on, easy off. That is the only park I'm familiar with North of Atlanta.

If you want to get South of Atlanta the 2nd night, then I recommend the Forsyth KOA just South of Atlanta, or if you want to get even further South, there is Eagles Roost RV Resort at Exit 5 just North of the FL border.
