Agreed! I've eaten there a couple of times, and the food was good, and the service was good, but it was just nothing special. I'm on vacation, I want unique experiences. I try very hard to do/eat stuff I can't do easily at home.

1500 will be better for transportation to the Outpost parking lot as you are on the Yellow Line, and it's a direct shot from 1500 pickup with only one stop at 1600-1900 before heading straight to the outpost.
2000 will be on the Purple line, and going to the Outpost bus stop, you will be going through all of the cabin loops and making several stops there. More of the cabin folks seem to ride the buses, so more stops, and more ECV pickups through there also.

We play transportation roulette on off days all the time, go to the fort bus stop, whichever bus comes first, hop on. Lots of times, the bus will be going to a different resort after stopping at a park. We stay on the bus and go to that resort, have lunch (cause we never leave the camper before lunch), then wander, have a drink, then hop on the next bus (or boat), or take a pathway from that resort somewhere else, etc., etc. We then usually end up at Earl of Sandwich for dinner (or now that more casual dining is open at Disney Springs, we'll be trying other things), then perhaps some shopping, then back to the Fort.

Have your reservations "linked" with a "travel with" number by the reservation system. (Call reservations and request this.)
Request that your sites be adjacent to each other when you link them.

We're the opposite, we prefer the buses BECAUSE of the ECV. That thing is just so darn heavy that disassembling and loading in and out of the truck is a major pain. We much prefer to drive the ECV through the Fort and board the bus or boat. It may take more time, but lots less work.

Yes, use a travel agent! [email protected] is a sponsor here, and he is awesome!! He's the MAN!!
He can make the reservations, search for discounts, if any, book your dining, send in your request fax, and many other services, all at no additional cost to you :)

They are really pricey, but PahaQue.com makes lots of custom tents and screenrooms for teardrops.

If you have a small enough grey water container, you can carry it to a toilet in the comfort station or the laundry sink in the laundry. I have a very small 5 gallon grey water container and that is where I emptied mine when I stayed in partial loops

Whoah, this thread is getting a bit ridiculous. Yes the website says, popups, van campers, and tents. I don't think any of us are advocating that folks with large buses or TTs purposely book those sites. What we are saying is that smaller campers that don't have/need sewer connections are probably within the spirit of their rules.
Seriously, do ya'll think that 8 - 20 foot small campers that just don't happen to have tent ends are not appropriate for those loops. The website is crap. The CMs, managers, know the website is crap, and use their own judgment regarding what is in the loops. Get a grip. I've stayed in that loop with my T@B many, many times. I didn't hide my unit from CMs when checking in, and they didn't blink an eye.
Let's gripe about the dangerous stuff, the disruptive stuff, the loss of customer service, and don't let the little stuff worry us.

The loop designations are as follows:
PARTIAL - Water, Electric, Cable, designated for tents, popups, van campers, large sand pad , no Pets
FULL HOOKUP PET - Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable, designated for all levels of campers, sand pad will remain, Pets are allowed with a $5 per night extra fee
PREFERRED - Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable, designated for all levels of campers, sand pad, no Pets
PREFERRED PET - Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable, designated for all levels of campers, sand pad will remain, Pets are allowed with a $5 per night extra fee
PREMIUM - Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable, all levels of campers are allowed, remodeled for the bigger rigs, the Sand Pad will be elimated and the level driveway will be wider and longer. No way to put a stake in the ground. Updated picnic tables and grills.
PREMIUM PET - Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable, all levels of campers are allowed, remodeled for the bigger rigs, the Sand Pad will be elimated and the level driveway will be wider and longer. No way to put a stake in the ground. Updated picnic tables and grills. Pets are allowed with a $5 per night extra fee.
    Loop 100 - Preferred
    Loop 200 - Preferred
    Loop 300 - Preferred Pet
    Loop 400 - Premium Pet
    Loop 500 - Premium Pet
    Loop 600 - Premium Pet
    Loop 700 - Premium Pet
    Loop 800 - Premium Pet
    Loop 900 - Premium Pet
    Loop 1000 - Premium
    Loop 1100 - Premium
    Loop 1200 - Premium
    Loop 1300 - Premium
    Loop 1400 - Premium
    Loop 1500 - Partial
Loop 1600 - Full Hookup Pet
Loop 1700 - Full Hookup Pet
Loop 1800 - Full Hookup Pet
Loop 1900 - Full Hookup Pet
    Loop 2000 - Partial
Tents are allowed on any level of site, partial, preferred, premium but the Preferred sites tend to have a smaller sand area and a larger driveway to accomodate RVs and campers. The Premium sites have NO SAND AREA AT ALL.
Supposedly, only popups, tiny campers, and tents are allowed on partial loops, but I have seen all sizes of rigs on the partial loops. A large rig would not be happy on a partial for very long due to driveway size and no sewer.

Atlanta is just 7 lanes of interstate each way with LOTS of traffic. You need to go through Atlanta between 9:30 am and 11am, or between 2 and 4 pm, or any time after 6:30 pm
If you base the time on normal travel speeds, then add a couple of hours with the trailer

Oh, I have an awesome story to tell from dinner. We were talking to the lady at the bar next to us. We were talking about the Fort and our campers. I mentioned I had a T@B teardrop. She said "I love those campers! Earlier this year I stalked one on the road near my house to get a picture. It was white with blue trim and had Mickey's down the side".
NO WAY!!! She showed a picture from her phone and it was MY CAMPER!! This, as it turned out was in Destin in January. Rick and myself were on a quick weekend trip to Topsail Hill State Park.

Oh yes, Snarky and Fort Fiends.net are going to be 6 years old on Sunday!
We are so happy and glad all of you are here!
Monique and I are working on new designs for this year and our goal will be to load the store with them AFTER WILD WOMENS WEEKEND.  (not before, hahahaha)
If you are of the creative type, and would be willing to come up with a design for a shirt to put in our store, you can earn a $50 credit in the store for anything you choose.
I still can't believe it has been 6 years!
We now have to start thinking about renewing next year our trademark and filing a separate trademark for Snarky's logo.  We will be starting a fundraising effort for that this year.

Speaking of bringing a TV for camping. We have a 19" Samsung that we bring camping. It fits perfectly in a flat Sterilite bin (after tilting the base) with a towel wrapped around it inside the bin. It travels very well that way.
