  1. Funny video with a catchy tune!  :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
  2. Great first post TJ! I really liked the City Mini but couldn't justify the 350 (on sale!) price tag. The Dream on Me was only 79 and is similar but lack a couple of features. Course that left money to get the Graco Alano "Flip It" Travel system..... :rofl2: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ZNKKPU/ref=asc_df_B002ZNKKPU1467415?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B002ZNKKPU It has a reversable handle so you can have your child face forward or backward as you like. :) :) :) :) :)
  3. My guess is just like its long lost neighbor "Horizons" Disney doesn't know what to do with it and will let the bean-counters make all the decisions rather than the people who care about the "show". My bet is that it will be replaced by another thrill ride in the quest to make Epcot less and less like Epcot and more like every other theme park..... Just like Horizons. :rofl2: :rofl2: :(
  4. We have the Expedition jogging stroller linked up above but on our last Disney trip we had better luck in the parks with this one: http://www.amazon.com/Dream-Me-Lightweight-Tripod-Stroller/dp/B002CVTLAA We found this thru someone that linked it on the DISfunctional boards. The 3 wheels and rounded front made it easier to get thru crowds and while not as light as an umbrella it is a lot lighter than a full size jogger. It is still available for what we paid on sale $79. :siren: :) :) :) :)
  5. I learned that lesson in a similar way with my first pop-up after unhitching on a slope that was shallow enough for me to unhook, but just enough slope for the trailer to slowly start rolling away...... Grabbed some firewood and threw it under the wheel (hadn't picked up much speed yet), that stopped one side, then I grabbed the hitch to stop the other side but it still dragged me sideways a few feet.... That might have been the same trip I forgot to put down the rear jackstands before I went inside and walked to the back...... Who knew you weren't supposed to do that??? I lea
  6. Deb, we were there for 2 weeks in January and I wore shorts the WHOLE time. I may have also worn a Fleece Jacket or two as well.......... Compared to New England it was still warm there! :rofl2: :) :) :)
  7. All good advice. Almost all new tents are pretty waterproof from the factory, but in a downpour you will want to have used the seamsealer ahead of time. Don't forget that most moisture inside a tent is condensation from breathing and sweating inside. That is why the best design is a breathable tent covered by a waterproof rain fly. This allows the tent to breathe and you don't have to worry about touching the inside fabric. If the tent doesn't have a rainfly then ventilation is key. Use a fan and keep vents or windows open. :rofl2: :) :) :)
  8. WOW! Where were these when I was in BoyScouts?? We could have had our whole Troop in one of these. Very cool indeed! :rofl2: :) :) :)
  9. Rent the Lucy and Desi movie "The Long Long Trailer" for ideas on what NOT to do...... :rofl2: :) :) :)
  10. When I had a pop-up w/ 12 ft box I used a Harbor Freight hand dolly that had a tow ball and two big tires. Worked great on flat pavement but anything else was a no-go..... Like the suggestion of the power mower, I have seen those used with a tow ball to move trailers around. :toiletreading: :partythree: :doublebeer: :thewave1: :highfive:
  11. Sounds kinky, but in the words of the great Fiend philosopher TnBob, we don't judge here. If you think that is kinky, you should see what I caught a couple of Eyeores doing at the Disney Store this weekend!!! :bday: Not That there's anything wrong with that...... :argh: >:D :) :)
  12. We were there in January and there was a huge line out the door at EOS, so we walked over to Pollo and found it to be practically empty. No line at all. There was a worker at the door greeting people and she seemed very disapointed when we didn't stay. (Didn't see any menu items that looked good at that moment.... ended up back at EOS)
  13. I love corn dog nuggets and I get them at Caseys every time we go, but last trip they tasted just like the ones you get in the freezer section and reheat at home....... Still good, but not the crispy fresh made ones I remember. Maybe they were just having a bad day or maybe its another cost-cutting move. :D :D :(
  14. The nice thing about Epcot is that its so big and has so many aspects to it that if you look hard enough you can find a small slice of all the other parks somewhere in there..... It really can be all things to all people if you look for what each person might like and point them in the right direction. ;D
  15. Ok, how about: Class A or C toyhauler towing a small camper van, maybe a sprinter type. That gives you two vehicles for emergencies, a toy garage, plenty of living space depending on the floorplans, and flexibility if you want to go somewhere the larger vehicle won't fit....... ;D You could also tow a pop-up behind the motorhome. Two queen beds in a small lightweight package     :)
  16. Got it! Class C towing a TT /Toyhauler...... I think that gives everyone their own bedroom (once the toys are out of the garage) ;D
  17. Sounds like you need 4 different bedroom / sleeping areas? Unless you are willing to compromise on privacy while travelling thats going to narrow your choices right there. 5th wheel with bunk rooms at opposite ends? Class C with twin beds in the rear? Class A with twins and bunks and a drop down bed over the front seats? ;D
  18. It is the 900 loop that has the walkway. It is off of the dog walk which runs behind the 1000 , 900 and 800 loops. You can see it here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/fortwilderness.htm We have stayed on 918 and the site next to ours was directly in front of the walkway/bridge. Not sure of the site number. I'll look at our pics and see if I have it. It is a nice area except when there is a Rowdy group/s staying in the group area, esp on a holiday weekend. MLK holiday in Jan was crazy. :) :) :) :) :)
  19. The outdoor seating in Japan is the best. Nothing like eating at night under the Japanese Lanterns and lighted trees right next to a rock garden and babbling brook. It makes the Shogun special taste even better :) :) :) :) :) :)
  20. We have always called in even though I agree its a huge PITA! Why oh why do we have to go thru the same questions over and over again..... The automated ones are bad enough, but then the CM gets on and asks even more repetitious questions...... The web site never seems to work right or have the days we need, and honestly it has never occurred to us to use a Travel Agent to book a campsite at the Fort or anywhere else for that matter. :siren: :siren: :) :) :)
