  1. I have the adaptor for our Q as well. and I agree on the importance of staying "hydrated"...... :rofl2: :popo: ;)
  2. At my job we use Code Green....... and also Code Brown and Code Yellow. Self-explanatory :grpwelcome: And I WISH we could call custodial. If its in the cellblock we can call a Haz-Mat team, but when its in the back seat of your cruiser its all you! :argh: :popo: :popo: :popo: :popo:
  3. Same here except we got the Q100 for the RV (after several others that didnt last) and then got the Q200 for home use :-) ;D :(
  4. Sounds like they are making it as a comedy....... :-( They tried that with Dragnet, Starsky and Hutch etc..... rarely works ;D :(
  5. We do the same so our dogs can go out for walks more often. Lot easier to do when the walk is right behind the site. The 1600 and 1800 loops do that as well. :parrot:
  6. We need the screen shot from "Vacation" of Auntie on the roof of the Family Truckster..... Monique??
  7. Yesterday was spent lying on beds, sitting on toilets, reaching for shelves in cabinets, etc ... and of course think of what Larry's1 we would have to do to make it the 'perfect fit'. 1 If 'Google' can become a verb, then a Larry can be a verb too. Lar?ry [lar-ee] ?noun - a male given name, form of Lawrence, Laurence; ?verb - to modify an RV, usually in an intricate and professional way. http://onlineslangdictionary.com/term/add/larry Isn't the last little bit of beer in the bottle (after your better half gives it back and say's theres still some left.....) called "The Larry" ? :rofl2:
  8. At that price, we should have Mousekeeping :rofl2: At that price, we should have Ice Cream and Grocery wagons, a Boardwalk Nature Trail, Open Trams instead of buses, a nice Water Park within walking distance, and..... oh yeah, a Steam Train!! :) :) :) :) :)
  9. Mike says the roof mounted will put out more cool air and be more efficient. So in the long run spending the money would be a better investment. I agree, but thats if you plan on keeping this pop-up for awhile. The Vikings were good but basic and I would make sure that the roof really is braced for the extra weight. If not, over time the roof will start to bow inward and the condensation from the AC, along with rain water, will pool on the roof and eventually leak. The standalone AC will not be quite as efficient, but you can use it with your next camper or even at home if you need it. And if
  10. When you couple non-existent rules with higher costs for campsites you highlight the double-standard that Disney has for its FW "Guests"...... A great example is the Pool. When we were there during the late stage of the pool construction I asked some CM's why the pool wasn't being expanded when they had the chance? The answer was telling. They said the only reason the pool was being renovated was to eliminate the deep end for liability reasons. The CM (nameless for obvious reasons) said that the hoopla over a "new pool" was just to cover the fact that the pool needed some serious work done to
  11. Yes, but was it worth it? :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
  12. Will 2 doubles be enough or will you have to fold down something everynight (PITA)? "Cupcake Mod" Love it! :argh: :popo: 8) 8)
  13. While playing checkers at the Meadows this January, we met the man in charge of merchandise for FW and the WL. He asked if we had found everything we were looking for...... Why NO, we both replied! and proceeded to tell him we wanted the FW stuff to come back. He told us that he was well aware of the requests for same and he had been asking his bosses to bring it back for awhile but that it was up to them not him. He did say that he was told it "almost" a done deal. He then told us how he recently found a FW hitch cover in the back room and had held a quick auction for it at the TP with a bu
  14. Thats great Stefa! I saved it for future use :) I wouldn't use it as an Avatar only because it was such an unpleasant experience. One that I don't want to dwell on everday, only when Trees are mentioned.... LOL! I was very disillusioned that week. The Fort Wilderness/Wilderness Lodge management and the Disney Legal Dept literally and figuritively made a bad situation worse. There is a quote from a guest in the back of the "Unofficial Guide" that I found to be the absolute Truth! He says: "Disney is the best place in the World until something goes wrong, when it does you might as well be t
  15. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. This happened Jan/ 2005 in the 1900 Loop at FW. There was some wind, but no storm, in fact there were children playing ball w/ their Dad right in front of the site when it happened (we were at the MK). Disney is self-insured and as they told me several times, Florida law considers tree falls to be "Acts of God" and therefore no responsibility on their part. My insurance did eventually pay for repairs AFTER I payed the one thousand dollar deductable...... Everytime I hear the words "Trees" and "Disney" together I see red....... :rofl2: but as I said
  16. Same here. We leave the South Shore area and take I95 to 287 to the Tappen Zee bridge then over to I81 to stay away from NYC, WASH DC, and Baltimore, then cut back over to I95 in VA. You also save serious toll money going that way and avoid traffic, but it is about 90 miles longer. :D :popo: :) :rofl2: :)
  17. I credit our Fiendly Ambassador: Doodlebug!! :D :rofl2: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:
  18. We already de=winterized to go up to the In-laws in Maine a couple of weeks ago. (much easier for all concerned staying in the driveway.....) But as Monique pointed out we are getting a snowstorm later this week!! :parrot: We won't get as much here near Cape Cod as she will, but its still snow in April.... AARGH!!!
  19. Oh Dear Lord!! I hope no one was hurt!! :D :popo: No Thank God, no one was hurt, but as you can see it wouldn't have been good if there was a child up on the top bunk.....
  20. Listen to D-Bug people! Hotel rooms are some of the dirtiest places on the Planet. Yes, even at Disney. and Yes, even when its been cleaned. Its the stuff you can't see that is nothing you want to be near. Unless it's a brand new room with new bedding, furniture and carpeting, you don't want to be there. :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh:
  21. Do NOT get me going on Trees at Fort Wilderness....... :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh:
  22. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow Shining at the end of every day ... Now is the Time Now is the Best Time Now is the Best Time of Your Life... :D :rofl2: :) :) :)
  23. Thanks Monique, great links. 100 respects for you!! I still cannot believe that this is the replacement for Pleasure Island. Take away something fun and unique. Replace with more shopping and dining..... Some of my best Disney memories are from the Adventurers Club, Mannequins and 8Trax with my friends. :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
