  1. It is actually very easy I was going to build the birdhouse from scratch but when we went to Michaels craft store for supplies I saw the pre-made birdhouses. The ears are are discs of mdf (pressboard) that are already black. I just cut the flat sides with a razor knife and they hot glued them on along with the buttons. We just used blue painters tape to section off the colors.
  2. Getting ready for the Fort in 2 days!!

  5. We are going to be in a full hookup loop next week and I know there is a playground near the entrance to the 1600/1700 loops. Does anyone recommend a site so the kids will be close and we could see them from the campsite?
  6. 1400 is a premium loop and centrally located to everything. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  7. Check out the new 2014 1500 Ram Eco-Diesel 28mpg and I think 400 ft pounds of torque. 9800# payload. This truck should be awesome! I have the 2012 Ram Dually 3500 6.7 Diesel. We have a 30ft 5th wheel and can cruise 60-70 mph to the fort. Best towing truck I have owned. I have had them all Ford, Chevy, now Ram.
  8. I have a canyon cooler www.canyoncooler.com it works very well! Keeps ice for days! Similar to a yeti. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  9. I have the weber jumbo joe. It is a 18.5 but short and has a lid lock when transporting. Always take it camping and it sits perfectly on top of the grills that are mounted at the fort campsites. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  10. 75 south there are a lot of shell stations. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

  13. I have stayed 1400 both loops 1435 is right by the campfire/movie and the bath house very convenient. But the inner loop was nice too, we stayed on 1457 and it had a small cut through the back that came out right in front of the bath house on the outer loop. Kids did like the inner loop better for playing and riding bikes and still plenty close to everything. We haven't rented a cart yet.
  14. Shawn, don't listen to them! I know from personal experience that they break down and spike Dawgs too! Woof Woof Woof! PS- You better get on the college football thread this season. I'm usually the only Dawg, so it will be nice to have someone else with good taste. I will be there Kelly! Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
