  1. She is a little over a year old. Growing too fast
  2. Page 3 arrival. I am forever late. But I am totally enjoying this trip report!
  3. The tattoos were the first thing that I noticed as well. My first impression were that they were the "deep sea fishing type". The tattoos, the Ohana flip flops, the sunglasses.....People are interesting. Fascinating. I love your pictures Gwen but you have heard me say that before :) I agree with Seals, some of them I want to frame up. That balloon picture reminds me that I will have the challenge of keeping them away from Olivia when we get there in a few weeks. She will not care about ANYTHING else if she has a balloon. :)
  4. Hi Fred/Karen! Welcome! I am pretty new as well and this is a great place to come if you love the Fort.
  5. That is such a nice place! Filled with grandkids and it is PRICELESS!
  6. The sanpchats with my daughters are the highlight of my day! They look like they totally enjoyed themselves!!
  7. My favorite restaurant serves pickled green tomatoes on their coleslaw to accompany their pulled pork BBQ sandwich.
  8. Love that chopstick trick Marty! CrockPot mac and cheese is a staple in our home. Thanksgiving would cease to exist without it.
  9. Where are they stationed Debbie? We were stationed at El Toro and lived on base in Irvine. (ages ago) But that base is closed. I was just curious. I cannot wait to see/read the Christmas TR!
  10. I am in and all caught up. I am super excited for this TR! These guys look like the poster men for the modern Dad.
  11. Me three. That is one of our favorite experiences at Disney. Fantastic pictures Gwen!
  12. Those photos are priceless! What sweet memories.
  13. Part of me wants to just wing it and get whatever they give me and the planning side of me will not let this go. :D
  14. What site number did you guys stay at Ray? Was there enough side yard for a tent?
  15. Gwen, I was talking about my granddaughter, but now that you say that, my Granny is just the same even knocking on 100!
  16. I have requested loop 1400 and am hoping to get next to camfire as I possibly can. Truth is, my grand is a ball of fire and I am hoping that the noisier the area the less stressed we will all be trying to keep her leveled out. But....I have heard that 1300 loop is way better in size. I would like to hear opinions on comparing the two.
  17. Again, I just love these reports because I get to see things that our out of sight. I don't know much about River Country. But it just seems to me that Disney would do something about that pool/rock/slide thing, like maybe restore it or something. I am going to have to go on adventures when I get to the Fort in December. I have plenty of Fort days set aside.
  18. I love your pictures Gwen! Le Cellier will forever remind me of the flu. We waited an hour beyond our reservation time which turned out to be a blessing. As we stood there waiting (starving and grumpy), a phantom Mack truck hit me, wrecked my body, and sent my temp way above the 100 mark. It was our last day at Disney and the day that I came down with the flu. Needless to say, we skipped out on Le Cellier.
  19. I typically rent from GreenbergRV. I don't own an RV and we have always been tent campers too. My girls and I started out renting a pop up (no longer an option with Greenberg though) and moved up to a TT. To say that he is fantastic is an understatement. I cannot say enough good things. He delivers, sets up, checks in midweek to ensure you are still set up efficiently (gas, tanks, etc) and picks up when it is time to go. VERY easy. He has a full fleet with reasonable prices and a good bit of extras if you want. You will not be able to rent a golf cart through him anymore because of the
  20. Better late than never! I love that all of your girls were able to get together with you. THAT is magical.
  21. It all ends up a big blur once you get to your happy place :)
