DinDavie 37
Just tried to make dinner reservations for the October 15 weekend. Started with the Hopdedoo and went through every restaurant in all the hotels that offer table service. Its my DW's birthday and all her three girls, two son-inlaws and 5 gradkids will be there. We will be staying at the fort and the kids will be staying at Wilderness Lodge. I found nothing before 9:00pm which will not work for the grand kids. I know there is someone on this site who books complete vacations but does she make dinner reservations as well? I would like to avoid cooking steaks at the camp site if I can. PureTcrazy...rita 380
I would imagine it's because you have such a large group. You could break your group up and probably have no problems. They won't guarantee that you will sit together though. Jason might be able to give you some advice. PureTcrazy...rita 380
Which weekend is it? the one before or after the 15th? What time did you put in?
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Jason gave some good advice on this thread..http://www.fortfiends.net/forum/topic/11114-i-am-so-frustrated-with-adrs/?p=304108 I think travel agents generally only handle dining reservations as part of the service of booking your trip for you. h2odivers...Ray 952
Try booking two or three reservations for your group. It might be easier to get to sit together at a buffet then a table service or at hoop dee doo or mickeys backyard BBQ. Good luck.

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Yeah, I bet a group of 12 only 3 weeks out will be difficult, but I would think there'd be something available. Jason rocks! Give him your info, and I bet he finds something.

Loandiva 1
I don't think that the Hoop de Do has the late night 9PM seating any longer (at least in March they didn't), but I was successful as a walk in the same day, to get a group of 12 in for the late night seating. They had it when we went in July.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
They still have 3 shows, they just moved everything up like 90 minutes. Every once in a while we will read that the late show (now not so late) has been cancelled for certain days.
