BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Share Posted October 11, 2013 There's a rumor floating around that Disney is going to create a permanent, themed bypass around Main Street at the Magic Kingdom. There's no official confirmation yet, but it seems likely this will happen. Anyone that's been at MK when it's crazybusy may have already been through this area. As you look at the castle, it goes behind the right side of the Main Street shops and comes out pretty close to Tomorrowland Terrace. No word yet on how the area will be themed but there isn't a whole lot of room back there and there is a lot of behind-the-scenes activity with delivery trucks, garbage trucks and CMs. Whatever they do will have to allow that access to continue, while somehow hiding it from guests that may be routed around that way. I have contended that Walt would not be happy that guests are taken back there to exit the park. Maybe they could build an elevated walkway back there with no windows....
